We (myself and 3 kids) were sitting in the waiting room when we were informed that the Dr couldn't see us due to a personal emergency. Unfortunately, I had taken time off work and taken my kids out of school for this appt and was very inconvenienced to have to reschedule. They did work to reschedule the appts on a Sat so I didn't have to lose time at work again.

Poor poor service waited in the waiting area for about 45 minutes when my appt was at 4:30. People checking in after me went in before me. Once I did make it to the back I waited another 10 minutes or so to get X rays. No communication whatsoever as okay the Dr will be in he’s running late nothing. So at about 5:50pm.

He came in don’t introduce his self nor did he say what he was doing. Just raised the chair up and told me to open my mouth. So the assistant came in while he was working in my mouth asking him to look at and sign papers for another client. So he was like well on the X rays you had cavities but they do not need to attended to. So he told the assistant to take me to another room for the cleaning because the equipment in the room I was in didn’t work.

So he walked away left me up in the air I laid there for about 10 minutes while they kept walking pass emptying garbages moping sweeping floors turning off the lights and about 4 of them just standing there having conversations. No communication whatsoever so ever. So I walked to the the front desk asking for their business card so I can make sure my insurance doesn’t pay for this insane no communication poor service of a visit and waste of my time I wouldn’t recommend my dog to this place and I don’t even have one horrible and I’m saving videos and photos for insurance

I’ve had great experiences at the Racine location. People who work there are kind and good at making the processes there as smooth as they could be. I got one of the most intense teeth cleanings my last visit, but I felt like a million bucks afterwards. The person at the front counter also helped with additional questions I had about locations and appointment scheduling.

I have the worst dental anxiety. Like to the point I can’t drive myself because of the panic that comes before the dentist. I’ll go years apart just because I’m that terrified. Dr Ion was so amazing with me. I had to ask every question under the sun before I let him even numb me. He was so patient and so assuring.

He took his time with numbing me because he knew that was my biggest fear. He made me feel safe and I didn’t feel like I was being judged for all the questions I had. He truly was amazing! I actually made an another appointment to come back for my fillings. I wouldn’t say I’m excited to go back but I’m definitely more at ease! Thank you Dr. Ion
