Dr. Aharon knows what needs to be done to fix any dental problem and performs the procedure professionally, quickly, and pain free to resolve the problem. I have had extensive dental procedures performed, and Dr. Aharon is by far the best dentist I have ever gone to.

My husband and I have been going to Family dental care of Honeoye for years. We LOVE the hygienist, we love the Dentist, we love all the staff! They are very thorough with cleanings, and are resourceful when we have a dental issue. I highly recommend becoming a patient here!

I'll start with the positive first. The hygienist has always been super nice and welcoming. There is a nice view out the window with a bird feeder and the occasional deer to relax you/get your mind off dental work. So now for the bad. I knew I was behind on my teeth, I try to be as forthcoming as I can with any medical/dental staff, I have chronic health issues and sometimes it's difficult for me to keep up in my oral health. So I went in here knowing I needed a bit of extra work. They knew that too and completely tried to take advantage of me. Let me elaborate. . . When I went in to come up with a plan to get my oral health back on track all I got was a printout of a LOT of root canals and crowns that 'needed' to be done with no explanation of anything that was going on.

I scheduled the first one and went to the appointment. When I was there I had a feeling something was wrong. I did not go through with the appointment. Fast forward to today (about a year later). I found a new dentist and went in for my first appointment. They were amazing and came up with a plan for my teeth and took the time to explain everything in enough detail so I had an understanding on what needed to be done. So the kicker is I actually don't need 95% of the root canals and crowns they tried to push on me at Honeoye Family Dental! I only need one crown and a couple filling replaced. My new dentist even showed me exactly where on my x-rays (of the teeth I told were bad) that the fillings that needed to be replaced are nowhere near the root. So those root canals would have been (and are) completely unnecessary. To recap all I ACTUALLY need done are a couple fillings and a crown to strength a tooth that has a rather large existing filling. After today's visit at my new dentist I can't even being to tell you how vindicated I felt.

Also relieved and so frustrated with Family Dental of Honeoye. I legit feel like I dogged a bullet. My total estimate (at Honeoye) was something like 12-14k! I'm so happy I listed to my bull**** meter, because it turned out to be right on point. I was lectured and mislead at this office (Honeoye). I almost can't believe it. Definitely use a lot of caution if you still decide to go to this office. The only way I can describe my experience was like dogging a really shady used car salesman. Worst of all is they tried to take advantage of my fear of being behind on my teeth. Absolutely shameful.

I've been going to Family dental care of Honeoye for a few years now and would recommend them to anyone and all ages. I had a problem with a tooth recently and they sent me for a second opinion and told me about other options at other dentist offices I had as far as types of anesthesia etc. but I chose to have it all done with them. The office is friendly and efficient and professional all at the same time. After the appointment, the Dr.

will suggest exactly what shape each tooth is in, but there is no uncomfortable pressure to do more work. It's not easy to get satisfaction from any healthcare provider nowadays but this group takes good care of their patients. And pays close attention to insurance offerings.
