I had an infected wisdom tooth that was fully out and loose. I just wanted it out because it was causing a lot of pain. But I had to wait one day for appointment. Doctor looked at it for 1 minute and said he'll write a referral to a specialist. I thought the specialist would see me right away but when I called, they'll see me for a "CONSULTATION" in 8 days!!! And then schedule the extraction in another 1-2 weeks!!!.

Almost a MONTH to pull a loose wisdom tooth? When I called back this dentist and told them about this situation, the exact response I got was "That's the way it is, oral surgeons are busy". So I called around and Troy Family Dentistry on 18 mile and Rochester got me in in 1 hour and pulled the tooth out right there. I don't know what kind of dentist can't even pull a loose tooth. I also asked him to prescribe me a mouth rinse because it's difficult to brush that part of teeth due to pain but he prescribed a tooth paste???

I have been a customer here literally my whole life. The staff have seen me grow from a child to the adult I am now. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. There’s minimum delay from the time you were scheduled to the time you’re brought inside. I’ve never had an issue with any procedure or cleaning done here! Highly recommend 😄

I had a crown put in about a year ago. It fell out within three months. I went back in with Dr. Jen who is now gone from that place and she put the tooth back in. I was having issues with lots of food getting stuck underneath the tooth and it was causing a lot of bad breath. About a month or two later, I had them check on it because it didn’t feel right and they said it was fine. This was with Dr.

lolly. I was literally able to put dental floss halfway into the underside of the tooth, which was not normal. They said it looks fine and about a month later it fell out again. Each time I’ve gone back they’ve tried to charge me. This last time when I went back after it fell out for the second time I noticed that the area where the tooth was was black. My gums were literally decaying from the food. At this time they tried to charge me about $75 as a co-pay with my insurance.

When I said I wasn’t going to pay it they then came back and tried to say I owed $53. I again refuse that payment and then they said they would just bill my insurance which I thought was outrageous since this is a mistake that they had made and never got it actually fixed. I was really upset that they didn’t work with me as I’ve been going to them for over 25 years. Things have definitely changed since their new ownership and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
