My first experience with Family Dental of Lincoln today was all positive. I didn't have to sit waiting a minute past my appointment time. I went in with a tooth that was broken and painful but Dr Vo worked carefully and patiently to do an extraction with minimal pain. She explained her actions every step of the way.

The entire staff was pleasant from first to last minute in this office. Great people I would recommend.

I’m not usually one to quickly write a review on a dentist. Unfortunately, since moving to Chicago in 2010 I have been through an array of different providers. After a particularly rough patch with my teeth , I was left with a lot of issues that were due to not being able to find a dentist during the pandemic. After 5 years of the wrong providers I finally feel safe in Dr. Vo’s hands .

She has taken action on what needed to be done and is amazing at what she does( no pain at all not even when getting the injections to numb you. ) This place is a diamond tucked away on Lincoln Ave. I will be sending all my friends to this practice.

I would not recommend braces here based on my experience. I originally came for a year and a half plan. However, the treatment was delayed without clear explanation. My appointments have been canceled last-minute, and the next available slot was often a month out, significantly impacting progress. In addition, there was confusion regarding insurance billing.

I was told the treatment would be covered for six months, but my insurance informed me they were being billed for 25 months. Attempts to get clarification were difficult—calls often went straight to voicemail, and follow-up calls were rarely returned despite multiple promises. It typically took four or more attempts just to speak with someone who understood what I was asking. The orthodontist himself felt rushed and impersonal. Adjustments were made quickly without much explanation, and concerns about my bite were not taken seriously.

I was not provided with care that felt appropriate, I estimated throughout the whole treatment only having spent 15 mins with the doctor aside from the initial consultation Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and disorganized scheduling made this a frustrating experience. I would suggest looking elsewhere for orthodontic care.
