We have been with Dr. S for years and we love it here. Ania is the best with our kids and we definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new family dentist office!

I had to see Dr. Shoukfeh on an emergency basis on a Saturday. I’ve known Dr. since way back to his dental school days and I’m so excited and proud of how talented a dentist he is.
I needed a molar taken out. . ,they can break and other complications I WAS EXPECTING! After he ensured I was appropriately numbed he effortlessly slipped my tooth out without ANYTHING INVASIVE! 2 instruments 🙏🙌✌️you’re the man Doc. , thank you SO MUCH!!!

Great experience at Family Dentistry at Cherry Hill. Ana cleaned my teeth and Dr S came in with some guidance afterwards. Ana was kind and gentle. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars was the process for new patient scheduling and paperwork seems to have some hiccups.
Had to resubmit insurance card, id and resend X-rays. Outside of that staff were friendly, office is clean, no delays between arrival and appt time. Moving from a DDS I've been at for 20+ yrs, I had some reservations, but today's visit left me happy to have made the move.

I have a huge phobia of anything dental related and have not gone for about 5 years because of how bad my past experiences have been. Unfortunately, even with brushing, flossing and listerining everyday I still had a couple cavities develop and one of them was so bad that it was making me change my smile because I was becoming so insecure. It was a huge cavity on whatever the tooth next to the canine is called and I have a huge smile naturally so knowing one of them had a giant black spot on it that kept growing pushed me to finally go to the dentist to get it taken care of for fear of it just falling out from neglect. I went maybe a month or two ago here and panicked when I was told my gums were so bad I needed to get them cleaned underneath. They suggested a periodontics place that would put me under for it since it's a painful procedure and then said to make a follow up for the cavities at this office 2 weeks after whenever the deep gum cleaning was. After I did the gum cleaning, I booked my dreaded cavity appointment.
Dr. S promised me because of how bad my anxiety is about this that I would be allowed to do the trifecta: novocaine, valium and laughing gas. I have only ever had novocaine before so I was a bit nervous about how effective the other things would actually be. I had the cavities fixed yesterday and it was hands down the best experience I have ever had with a dental person (I'm 31 one for reference). I genuinely didn't feel a single thing and I was shocked when I looked in the mirror immediately from getting up off the chair to see that my teeth looked perfect again! If this was how all dentists were, I wouldn't have waited 5 years to go back. Unfortunately because of how neglected my teeth were, I still have to come back for check ups every 3 months instead of the 6 until my gums and enamel are back to where they're supposed to be for what I think they said was like a year or two before I could stick with the every 6 months rule.
I cannot recommend this dentist enough - incredibly patient with me whenever I was freaking out, explained everything to every question I had in a way I could understand, and did both cavities in less than an hour with ZERO pain. For someone with a dental phobia and extremely sensitive teeth, I am so grateful to have found a dentist who not only knows what he's doing, but is so kind and considerate in the process. If you're interested in cost, for the two cavities and the 3 things used to help the process go smoothly, I paid out of pocket (my insurance is awful and covered nothing) and the cost was about $550 and I don't have that kind of money upfront (I'm a teacher in America lol) and they have a few payment plan options where you can either pay it in 2 or 3 installments so I chose to do it in 3 (no, they don't charge you any extra fees for spreading out the payments). (Also shoutout to the dental assistant Emily for helping out - very nice vibe!) If you have some brutal teeth situations going on, Dr. S can absolutely take care of you and I can say that from experience.
