I used to love coming here until I had to deal with the billing department. The dentists and dental hygienists are AMAZING! My family is under my dental policy. One of the dentists at the location is out of network for my dental plan. The dental office started putting my family on his schedule, which means the dental company was sending me the checks instead of the dentist. No big deal. However, I was never told this until I received the following email saying that I owe almost $1200. I asked for a breakdown, and I received an email on Fri, Apr 19, 2024 at 12:47 PM stating with bills starting on 08/16/2023. First issue is that I understand that I should be responsible for paying for my kids dental bills; however, my spouse is over the age of 18 and should be responsible for his own bill. They added my spouse’s dental bill to my credit without my permission. They said that since he was under my dental plan coverage, they could do that without asking (which is incorrect according to the insurance commissioners office). Second issue is that the first bill was from over 6 months prior to the email and in 2023 (the email was sent in 2024). So, I started inquiring about the bill and received this email: “The balance that is currently due is from dates of service in 2024. These checks were issued to you directly from Delta Dental and they have been cashed.
” I called to explain that I did not cash any checks in 2023. Next, I received a voicemail stating that she was incorrect and only the bills for 2024 were due. What if I would have just paid the $1200? Would the mistake have been noticed? Furthermore, I did not know why the dental company was sending me checks since I was going to the same office and had the same dental plan. I thought I overpaid for the plan from my job. Either way, I feel like this should have been explained to me over the phone or in-person prior to the emails. In addition, the amount that I owed should have been doubled checked to ensure that amount was correct. However, I let it go and tried to still bring my family in since I really liked the dentists and dental hygienists. However, now, all I get are attitudes from the staff at the front desk and the billing department. This is especially wild to me since the billing department made the mistakes and I tried my best to watch my tone due to my ethnicity and not wanting to be labeled “ANGRY”. Moreover, it has been issue after issue. The most recent issue was when I tried to bring my 4-year-old in for her first appointment. I thought it was going to be exciting and special occasion. I was very wrong since the billing department was determined to ruin our experience.
The day before my daughter’s appointment at 3pm, I was sent a TEXT MESSAGE stating that my daughter was not covered. I explain through text (since I was in a meeting) that it was a family plan and all my other family members had been seen throughout the year. Family plans have to include ALL family members, which I would think the billing department would understand. Nonetheless, the billing department stated that my daughter was not on my plan until 1/1/2025. I told the billing department that could not be correct because I already switched dental plans for 2025. So, I canceled my daughters appointment because I did not have enough time to figure out the issue for the billing department prior to my daughter’s appointment. Then, suddenly, the billing department figured it out and said my dental company had my daughter’s DOB incorrect. Honestly, it just seems that I am being targeted. So, at this point, it is just best if I find another dental office because I cannot go back and forward with the billing department and the MANY mistakes that they make and the unprofessional communications. However, I will be submitting a complaint through the Better Business Bureau.

Sadly, I was looking for a new provider since my insurance changed. I called this place and since day one the person answering the calls with name starting with J. Was not kind at all no interest, her way to ask questions were like you are bothering her instead of appreciating the request and opportunity of having a new patient.
I though that could be me, but today I confirmed it was me. So sad they are losing clients-patients by having a rude person answering the calls.

The team here is fantastic! The office is modern, welcoming, and incredibly clean. The care I received was top-notch, and I felt completely at ease. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dentist!
