Family Health Care is a well-established community health center that has been providing comprehensive healthcare services since 1967. They are known for their "one-stop shopping" concept for health care, offering integrated services including medical, dental, laboratory, x-ray, full-service retail pharmacies, health education, and school-based Child and Adolescent Health Centers across multiple locations in Michigan, such as Baldwin, Evart, Grant, Reed City, and White Cloud. Their mission is to provide quality, integrated, and comprehensive health care services that are accessible to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Family Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and is accredited by the AAAHC as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), signifying their commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care that emphasizes care coordination and communication. Betsey Jo Baumann-Smeenge, a board-certified pediatric dentist, is a member of the Family Health Care team in White Cloud, specializing in dental care for children from infancy through adolescence, including those with special healthcare needs.
