the reason for my 1star rating is the receptionist. I don’t know the name else I would have definitely mentioned(one with black hair from Bangladesh I believe. She has zero communication skills and nil customer service skills . Just replace her and you will only get 5* for assistants doctors and service.

I had a terrible experience at Family Health Centre Dental Clinic (3003 Danforth Avenue) and would not recommend their services. On November 15, 2024, I visited the clinic for a routine cleaning, during which X-rays were taken. I was seen by Dr. Navid Sarooshi, who recommended fillings for my upper molar and bicuspid. I returned for the procedure on November 22, 2024, but after the filling, I experienced constant pain and extreme sensitivity, requiring painkillers multiple times a day for several days. After 10 days of persistent pain, I contacted the clinic on December 3, 2024, and was seen by Dr. Carolyn Lobo. She determined that my wisdom tooth next to the molar was wobbly and painful, suggesting either a root canal or extraction. My wisdown tooth had no problem before the filling.

However, I opted for an extraction, which was performed the same day by Dr. Bhaveshkumar Modi. While the extraction site healed quickly, the pain from the fillings never improved—I still felt high degree of pain, extreme sensitiveness and couldn’t chew on that side at all. The upper and lower teeth on the side where the filling was done kept colliding, even when I spoke. In the morning of December 14, 2024, I called for an emergency appointment and was scheduled to see Dr. Lobo at noon. However, when I arrived, she refused to see me, claiming that I was Dr. Sarooshi’s patient and that the receptionist had made a scheduling mistake. She declined to help me, despite the high degree of pain I had been experiencing, and told me to rebook for the following week.

Desperate, my husband found a highly-rated clinic at 19 Ordnance St. , where I was seen the same day by Dr. Moussa Alkhoury Alyan. His treatment immediately relieved some pain, and over time, my condition improved significantly. However, four months later, my molar and bicuspid remain sensitive, especially to cold liquids. The lack of post-treatment care, dismissive attitude, and refusal to see a patient in distress were unacceptable. I regret trusting Family Health Centre Dental Clinic with my dental care and strongly advise others to avoid this clinic. The one star is for the wonderful reception staff, who are always professional, friendly, and courteous.
