Came here to see if they could numb a tooth i was having trouble getting numb for a root canal. Dr Owen came off very nonchalant & like he never dealt with someone with anxiety before. Not welcoming at all. He then proceeded to tell me that feeling the coldness and him drilling my tooth was “normal. ” I then went to a root canal specialist & they told me i shouldn’t have felt the cold at all. Dr Owen acted like he didn’t believe me when i told him i could still feel everything.

I’m not mad at the fact he couldn’t get me numb. i’m upset at the fact that he made me feel like i was stupid & how he acted like he really just didn’t care. I also didn’t care of his partner either. However the hygienist that took my x-rays and the front desk woman were very welcoming and sweet. Attitudes and demeanors are everything , especially in this field.

An insurance change found us looking for a new dentist this year. After researching a few places I called FGR in Swartz Creek. Bailey was caring and helpful from first contact. I am very pleased with everything….so glad we found our new dentist so close to home. Thank you Danielle and Dr Afshan for making me feel comfortable and taking care of my needs!

This Dentist and staff is soooo friendly, professional, and pay close attention to detail and do a thorough job checking and cleaning your teeth. My 1st visit there was yesterday after going to another place not too far away that sort of failed at a filling in a tooth that needed replacing and it kept falling out. ( The original filling was there for 20+ years and on gumline done out of state) anyway- Dr Owen did a fantastic job. He and the hygenist took their time makingbsure all was perfect and made me feel truly cared for.

Im so happy to have found a new Dentist! Oh! And their office is immaculately clean, newly updated and is so charming and beautifully remodeled. They have state of the art equipment. I highly recommmend this Dentist and staff. Couldn't have been more kind and welcoming!

Highly recommend! These dentists take their time and make sure you're completely comfortable prior to performing any procedures! They also work with your schedule and are compassionate. Dr. Afshan was absolutely amazing and made me feel like family along with her assistant Danielle Hardisty.

The dental tech Heather was also great and very gentle yet efficient. I would 110% recommend to anyone with prior dental trauma and or ongoing anxieties. I've never had a dental office accommodate me so well!
