Absolutely atrocious dental practice. I thought it would be “fun” to go to a dentist at the beach. Their building is outdated, and so is their technology. Instead of investing in the newest 360 x-ray machine, they said they just use the old school one and add more pictures. Like 20 per side. Talk about radiation overexposure- I’ll probably end up with mouth cancer from this place.

I naively paid ahead of time for the whole year, and we didn’t show up to our second appointment because we just couldn’t go through that again, their whole staff was so terrible. I assumed that would be the end of it, as we already prepaid for the whole year, which includes two appointments per person And we only ever used the first one. Instead, we have a bill from them, saying that us not showing up goes above and beyond what we already prepaid for the year. This is ridiculous. Don’t be duped by these people like I did, find a different dentist.

I have been coming to this office for roughly 5 years and I’m always impressed by the level of care provided. I have seen different staff here multiple times and everyone is kind, nonjudgmental, and extremely understanding. I will continue to go here in the future for all required dental work.

I love this place! As someone who does not enjoy going to the dentist, they do a great job at making you feel as comfortable as possible and do great work. Today was my first experience getting a cleaning from Colleen and I highly recommend her. She's super easy going and doesn't just work on your teeth and send you away. . . she coaches you on how to best take care of your teeth and be proactive and preventive of future issues.

I look forward to getting my teeth where I want them to be with Folly family!. . . Oh, and did I mention that I had a comfort dog on my lap the whole time?! True, and super awesome, story. 😊

I wouldn’t recommend this dentistry. They gave estimate , insurance didn’t cover. I called insurance company and insurance company said that they never gave Folly Beach Family this estimate . They didn’t do their job checking with insurance company Person who answered phone is rude and hang up on me Definitely don’t do their job
