I used this office for many years and was always happy with their service all the way around. Why only 2 stars? As Dr Carpenter replaced Dr Tucker, subsequently I had just lost my job of 30 years so I was self pay. I tried to schedule cleaning for my children and even gave them the money for the procedure to take with them. The office said I had to get and pay for exrays before they would do a simple cleaning. I asked to speak directly to Dr Carpenter so that I possibly I could do the exrays later since I was self pay. He told me to my face that people are sue happy and that's why they insist on exrays just in case they are sued. He then suggested that I go to the dental school and let some students clean my kids teeth.

Let me be clear. . . . if the Dr or staff at this business says any of this review is false, they are liars. That's why I will never go back and you may want to find another dentist.

My family and I have used Winston Salem Dental Care since I started work for RJR back around 1979. Recently I decided to try something closer to home. I had a broken tooth that was causing infection and problems and needed to be extracted. So I decided to try Foothills Family Dentistry in Pilot Mountain because several folks had said they did good work for a fair price. . . I was very pleased with the service I got during two visits. The first visit for exam and x-rays and the second visit to extract the tooth.

Everything went really well, no problems, no pain, no complaints. The price they charged me for the two visits and the extraction was very reasonable. I'm very satisfied with price I paid and the care I received. . I plan on using them from now on as my regular Dentist. I highly recommend them. . Dale Sands

I initially had a Raleigh dentist put 2 crowns on my front teeth after breaking a front tooth. I wasn’t happy with what he said was “the best that could be done by any dentist” so my friend recommended a second opinion and knew Dr. Carpenter, although he was 2 hours from home, it was worth it. Immediately he recognized the same flaws I did and explained my options.

His temporary crowns looked 100% better than the initial dentists PERMANENT crowns. I would trust Dr. Carpenter and his amazingly experienced team, they will take care of you as if you were their own family! I live in Raleigh and will drive the 2 hours to know I’m in great hands!

Dr carpenter and Suzette and Linda I just want to say thanks and yall are the best I’ve ever met. Gentle dentist little or no pain. Good job Foothills Family Dentistry. ❤️
