We've had such a positive experience with Forest Orthodontics! I want to highlight Bree (Bri?) specifically - she went above and beyond for my daughter during our visit today. Not only did she re-wire my teenager's braces with efficiency, but when she saw my daughter wasn't happy with how her chosen rubberband color looked, she took the time to completely re-band her with a new color. My daughter's smile was immediately bigger and she was very thankful.

You showed you cared about my kiddo and wanted her to feel good. Thank you for giving her great ortho care & for some positive confident vibes.

Giving them a 2 star because I've been a long time customer, would be a 5 star. But today, I was denied service even though I was offering to pay for the scheduled cleaning completely out of my own pocket. This was due to Forest not accepting Humana EPO. Not a problem I am not upset with an office not accepting certain dental plans. But to be denied to receive the cleaning because this office wants to take xrays as well, even though we were only there for a cleaning is literally absurd. Over a 30 minute drive one way after getting my child out of school early so we can get a CLEANING, not xrays. I asked why I couldn't simply pay upfront for the cleaning service and receive just those services and that was the literal answer "because the dentist wants xrays to see what's going on currently". .

. . which I understand the thought process behind that, sure. Xrays are a normal part of dental work, but a cleaning requires no xrays. I was actually shocked that I was being denied services and unfortunately I'm locked into the dental plan until November at least. But I don't see much of a reason to change it so I can come back. Why would I want to do that in the case that another hiccup happens and I get denied services even though I'm willing to pay for them up front. What type of business model is it that you would turn away the pre planned appointment that BOTH customer and business agreed to and scheduled far in advance, because YOU want additional things done, that aren't required.

This reminds me of that kid on the playground that if they don't get their way, they take their ball and go home. The point of a business is to make money, but to choose to not make as much money on the visit as you wanted, seems to be the only reason why i was turned away, because it sinply does not make logical sense to do this. I'm extremely disappointed with the decision made today and I had nothing but good things to say about the business prior to today. Now I'm forced, by YOUR decisions to find another dental office. I dont need one of those "I'm sorry about your experience" messages like you see commonly in the reviews as the dentist for your company was happy to speak on behalf of the entire company.
