Detailed Introduction

Fort Wayne Pediatric Dentistry is a dedicated dental clinic specializing in the oral health needs of children, from infancy through adolescence. Located at 10211 Dupont Cir Dr W, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, the clinic aims to serve as a pediatric "dental home," providing accessible, coordinated, family-centered, compassionate, culturally effective, and sustainable care. The clinic's philosophy centers on developing long-term relationships with each patient, focusing on the child as an individual rather than just a set of teeth. Their experienced and compassionate team strives to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience for every visit. They understand the unique needs of children and are sensitive to their developmental stages, emphasizing a proactive approach to dental health. Fort Wayne Pediatric Dentistry offers a comprehensive range of services tailored for young patients, including routine checkups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants to prevent cavities. They also address common pediatric dental issues such as cavities, teeth defects, dental injuries, malocclusion (bad bites), gum disease, and speech-related disorders. Education is a key component of their practice, as they advise parents and children on proper oral hygiene techniques, healthy eating habits, and the prevention of oral injuries. They also provide guidance on issues like thumb-sucking and pacifier use. The clinic adheres to the recommendations of leading dental organizations, encouraging a child's first dental visit around their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth erupting. This early intervention helps establish a positive dental routine and allows for the early detection and management of potential oral health problems. Their goal is to help children establish a strong foundation for a lifetime of good oral health and experience the benefits of healthy, beautiful smiles.

We've had about three visits over the past 2 years. Quick & easy. Always a fun time too!

This office doesn’t accept Delta Dental in-network—or any insurance in-network—just to make their lives easier. Meanwhile, it makes life much harder for families, forcing us to drive 1-2 hours for basic dental care for our kids. This is unacceptable. Do better!

Selfish and lazy Dentist who signed up for pediatric dentistry and surprisingly tries to avoid the childish energy, kids present, while getting their teeth fixed. Dr. Kevin suggests anesthesia for 5 cavities. I asked what happened to novocaine and laughing gas? His answer was the kids will start crying and getting fidgety, and they will start moving during his procedure I. E. surgery! Never once did he recommend doing two teeth at a time and returning for another appointment on a different day. Dr. Kevin only recommended completing the mouth in 1 appointment; with the lease hassle possible, and no crying. On this behalf, I believe he should have chosen adult dentistry, since he wants to work on people who understand teeth procedures and being still while the Dr.

works. Another thing I didn’t like about Dr. Kevin, is how he placed my kids behavior, in the same category as the prior kids personalities he has worked on in the past. Apparently, he believes all children act the same in his chair, and he made it clear that he is not interested in doing the procedure if there is no anesthesia. Obviously, Dr. Kevin choose the wrong “age group“ for his career path, because he doesn’t have a passion for working on children’s teeth and doesn’t like doing kids teeth while they are alive “put them to sleep I don’t want to deal with children while I do my job” is the persona he gives off during the visit. Don’t get me wrong now I could be wrong, maybe he didn’t want to recommend multiple visits / 2 teeth at a time, because we have Medicaid. This is a honest reality check here for Dr. Kevin, and he finally got a non bias real review with no favoritism or sugarcoating! Pediatric Dr.

with 4. 9 stars reviews and he doesn’t even like kids. (Update 20225 April) So, We found a new dentist by planet fitness on the south side of Fort Wayne in the parking lot by McDonald’s near the storage unit Who used Novacaine and laughing gas and completed my daughter’s teeth and she did just fine and we did it in only two appointments. (I earned this man) I would like to say that a nine-year-old girl just passed March 18, 2025 in California under anesthesia surgery via Pediatric-dentistry. I am so glad I did not let this dentist do this to my daughter and I am so glad that my wife did not listen to the doctor over the child’s father. Stay far away from this doctor he is only in it for himself and what is easy for him, I do not know his name, but he wears pink socks and he is tall Burnett hair.
