Hygienist and Dentist were great for my first time visit. Billing is an absolute nightmare. I received a statement for $500 for a simple cleaning and x-rays because they did not apply my insurance. Their billing department refuses to answer ANY phone calls at any point during the day. I've called well over 20 times. Scheduling is the only department who picks up and they just put in requests for a callback that never comes.

I finally got an updated statement and still am being asked to pay $200. 00 for a cleaning visit. I have never had to pay for a cleaning visit in my life with this insurance. Avoid if first time patient.

The hygienist was awesome and did a fantastic job! She explained things well and i left satisfied with the appearance of my teeth. However, there are a lot of back office issues with not being able to find my records from my orthodontist and a lot of insurance issues that should not have interrupted my first time visit. Then the billing department used the incorrect address and my claim was denied through my insurance so now I am dealing with that. I’ve called multiple times to the front desk and to the billing department, and there is no answer during business hours. There is also no office manager to speak with.

Now they are sending me a $500 bill for a billing error on their end. They were also supposed to send me emails for referrals after my visit and I still haven’t gotten those emails six days later. Those little annoyances are not what i what i expect as a customer and first time patient. The office seems a very unorganized.

I hated my old dentist, but switching to Forward Dental has been amazing. The team is super nice and understanding. My least favorite thing a medical provider can do is not read my charts, but they make it clear they read them before I am in the chair.
