With several surgeons in the GTA to choose from, my wife was very happy she followed her instincts and went with Dr Mascarenhas and his team. She had her wisdom tooth extracted last week and the procedure was quick and painless - she even went back to work the next day. We will definitely be bringing our son here for his extractions in the future.

Dr. Mascarenhas is a very knowledgeable and professional surgeon with lots of experience. I had a very smooth experience with my jaw surgery (upper & lower), the staff are VERY kind and polite, Dr. Mascarenhas explained things very well step by step, and was easy to understand.

We travelled from Ottawa to do the surgery and the checkups, the office staff undertood, were very accommodating and kind. Very professional, very nice staff, and I would highly recommend his practice to anybody looking for orthognathic surgery.

Even though I wasn’t able to get my surgery done here (complications, referral to hospital) I still had a really great experience. The staff/nurses/doctors are all very friendly and helpful, and Monica especially was amazing at answering all of my questions. You have a wonderful team here!

I had the worst experience here. Their receptionist Lorelie lied to me and ignored my request for follow up with the doctor as my wisdom teeth condition got worse. She claimed that oral surgeons don't treat decay and infections and I should go back to my dentist. She effectively got rid of me. After this I got upset and posted a bad review. Then this same receptionist Lorelie goes on the phone calls me. During the phone call she pretends to talk with a colleague.

Pretending to talk with a colleague she says this is the same number, address and person who posted a bad review. I hear this and I start saying hello, asking why she called me and who is she talking about. She doesn't answer and tells me she accidentally called me and proceeds to say bye. Because of this call several months later I get a appointment with the doctor and am terrified to go with the surgery fearing she had told the doctor about the review I posted. During the appointment I discuss health details and it doesn't work out. I believe even if the surgery was scheduled and worked out, Lorelie would have told the doctor about the bad review I posted a day before the surgery. I originally had heard good things about the doctor and that's why I picked this place.

In the end I got a chance to speak with their manager Byanca too. She was very nice, kind and spent a lot of time patiently speaking with me. But unfortunately due to the complexity of my story, details I ineffectively communicated and details missed. The conversation beared no positive outcome. I tried calling back to further correct the details I ineffectively communicated but Lorelie keeps disconnecting the line.
