Dental hygienist was amazing as usual. Dr. Joe was disrespectful with an unnecessary comment that severely upset me and contained no beneficial purpose whatsoever. I left in tears but the dental hygienist took care of me all the way to the front entrance and for that, she gets 5 stars.

Not quite sure what has happened at Four Lakes Family Dental. I had requested a specific after care treatment for my Invisilign treatment, which I started in 2016, shortly after they opened this office. My latest appointment with Dr. Ferraro was a disgrace.

Someone who was always pleasant and professional in the few years after I started my care, was unexpectedly rude, argumentative, defensive, and combative. My requests for care were continually ignored and when I tried to discuss my issues this past week, I was met with a combative conversation with a lack of proper record keeping and lack of care or understanding for my situation. The red flags have been popping up for some time, and this was the final incident. High turnover and temporary employees, lack of other patients in the building at prime office hours, and the off putting demeanor of both doctors is unacceptable and a sign that the office is not at the caliber that it should be.

I would highly suggest alternative care for you and your family.

I will never return to this place. During a multiple procedure visit to fill 2 cavities and start replacement of an existing crown. During this procedure, the dental assistant dropped the curing light on my face. No apology, nothing.

Then, after a nightmare 3 weeks of wearing the temporary crown, I get the permanent seated. I went to another dentist to get my teeth cleaned and they pulled several pieces of cement out that this dentist missed. I came back because I was concerned about my gums and I felt the dentist was very rough especially with a patient known to be afraid of the dentist.

I wish I had looked past all the fake reviews and read the real ones about this place being an absolute money grab. DO NOT GO HERE! They will tell you need things you do not need! Read the other reviews! Unfortunately we believed them for work they said my husband needed (and didn’t) and they maxed out our dental plan and we gave them $600 before we caught on. Lots of red flags and should have followed my gut. And Mary (financial person) who goes over the treatment plan and costs is rude and pushy. Something is not right here.

She wanted to tell me that my son who had seen a dentist consistently every 6 months before we switched (they were too far away) needed $7000 of work. The dentist didn’t even bother to meet me or talk to me. Needless to say, my entire family is now looking for another dentist, one that is ethical. Sad that everyone seems to be in the business of scamming.
