Fox Family dental has been my go to place for at least 30 years. Amazing office staff. I love the Family part of Dr. Bob and Dr. Jim. Very caring and compassionate people! The Assistants and Hygienists are always a joy! Thank you all and keep up the good work!

I had a noon appointment, so I got there a little early. I was taken back quickly to my hygienist and she got right to work. Anna was very nice, I feel like she did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr Fox came in after the cleaning and took a look at my teeth and I was done in less than an hour.
They are very friendly and caring and have a family atmosphere at Fox Family dental. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely awesome office! They are so patient and kind with our boys that are on the autism spectrum. They also are great at working with our crazy schedule. Thank you, Fox Family dental, we appreciate you!

So, l have to start by saying that the Dentist and others who work in back are very good at what they do. I cannot say the same about the front office. So, for starters, l chose this office directly from my providers web site. When l went there, l had my first cleaning done. I explained to the hygienist that l needed service every 3 months but had some concerns about frequency. She explained that cleanings and maintenance are alternated and thats how service is provided 3 months apart or something to that effect. After my second visit, l got a bill for 123. 00 for the cleaning. First, they said l was out of network and there was a previous balance for the first cleaning. Then they confirmed l was in network but my "cleaning" was too frequent. And they were going to bill my insurance company $99 for on network service. So now because they won't pay, they want $123 from me. Although lt was supposed to be covered. She was very adamant about it. I took offense to that, but was very calm and respectful although l fundamentally disagreed. Finally l pointed out to the receptionist that of the many good reviews this office has, there are only a few bad reviews. All of those are front office/ billing issues. They phone girl got angry and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to Mr.
Fox. Of course not right away, but at his convenience. This receptionist then kept insisting her coworker was polite and didn't hang up. This was "absolutely not" the case. If you look closer at the bad office reviews, you can see this isn't the first time this has happened allegedly. They kept repeating themselves even after l had confirmed or corrected something as though they were not fully listening. I don't know if Dr. Fox will review the 3 conversations l had with ALL his receptionist this morning or if he will call me . I do know that he has supported his office staff in response to the bad reviews in the past. Its unfortunate, l have such a hard time finding good medical and dental help here in Cape Girardue. I just want to point out that l could have made appointments with a dentistry that works on a sliding scale (crossroads) if given correct information. I am 56yrs old and my health is declining. I am only working part time. I feel like they could have some flexibility considering the misinformation or perhaps a senior discount instead of a " Now we want it all" attitude . I had to spend time helping them decide if l was even in network, something they should have already figured out long ago and time is money. Also, the bill they provided claims l owe $123, they said its for the current cleaning, but the bottom of the bill say l owe 104 for current amount and 19. 00 over Sixty days past due. So, the past due amount is from a cleaning that was covered. ?? They can't even get the bill straight! I wish l could insert a copy of the bill.
I already don't have a primary care provider and now its looking like l don't have a dentist either. . . Damn shame . I like him and l like the hygienist. I will update this post I checked my insurance and they were billed $123 and not $99. I still don't understand the way they bill and neither do they. Otherwise l would have received a correct answer. It doesn't explain what l owe $19 for from over 2 months ago for. I found out the procedure they should have billed for is called a "polish maintenance. ". Thats what they should have performed and billed me for. So, l have heard from them. I decided to pay the bill (slowly) to protect my credit. I will never go back there for service and l strongly recommend no one else does either. At least until he replaces his office staff.
