This office is definitely the place to go. Dr. Moini, Gloria and Maria are all so welcoming and professional and the office is always very clean. I’d avoided the dentist for years before I finally made an appointment here. They laid out a clear treatment plan and were always flexible with scheduling . I’d recommend to anyone!

I am genetically missing 5 adult teeth (all in the front) and had bone & gum graft surgery/implants/crowns put in 10 years ago by Dr. Gyuricza. To put it lightly, Dr. Gyuricza's work was completely botched. Fast forward 10 years, it was time to replace my crowns. I was referred to Dr. Moini by my best friend's mom. I was in the market for a skilled Prosthodontist b/c I didn't want to just go with any general dentist who had a great before & after gallery. My previous doctor was a referral & had a great before & after gallery on his website but still did a horrendous job. This time around, I needed to see the 'after' in real life and I had my best friend's mom as living proof. I met Dr. Moini & his staff (Gloria & Sabrina) and immediately went with him and I'm really glad I did.

Dr. Moini made me feel comfortable and not only that, he was mortified at my crowns that my previous doctor had placed in. . . so much that he couldn't stop staring at it during my first appt b/c it was bothering him that much! He also noticed that gums around my implant/crowns were in bad shape, something that my general dentist completely missed. Only after a deep cleaning by his dental hygienist Mary, a special toothbrush and instructions on how to floss around my crowns, did my gums heal. The provisionals (temporary crowns) that he placed looked 100x better than my old crowns. Dr. Moini ended up replacing 1 abutment (saved the other 2 abutments), and all the crowns. The entire process did take a few months for me to get my permanent crowns b/c the shape & shade of the crowns had to be an extremely close match, but it is worth the wait so definitely be patient. It takes time for perfection! Dr. Moini was extremely easy to work with.

He answered my plethora of questions, complaints, comments, & suggestions during each appointment. Today, I finally got my final permanent crown in and I am extremely happy with the results. There were definitely a lot of obstacles that he & Tom had to work to overcome during the whole process, including finding a replacement abutment for my old implants (during which Dr. Moini spent HOURS calling every company out there and ended up ordering from Europe I believe) and Tom had to come probably 4-5x to meet with me to ensure he was getting the shade & shape of the crown perfectly. Dr. Moini had Tom remake my crowns THREE times so this shows that he will make sure you're happy with the crowns and stick with you until you are satisfied. I know MANY doctors out there will not redo any crown let alone three, and they will permanently cement the crown after 2-3 visits even if you're not happy with them. Off the bat, I could tell that Dr. Moini is extremely gentle & meticulous with his work and that Gloria (his dental assistant) is also very detail oriented with her work as well. She will make a great dental hygienist in the future! If you're unsure or on the fence about Dr. Moini, look no more and go with him, you will NOT be disappointed!

I've had the pleasure to provide Dr. Moini with some of the dental products he uses at this office for the last 20 years and his nice attitude has never changed. He is a great human being!!! Gloria in the other hand is absolutely the best at what she does. Great overall team here in the DC area.

Dr. Moini is the kindest, most gentle dental medical doctor I have ever seen. Gloria and Maria make me feel welcome every time I come in and I wish I could be with this team forever! I first came to Dr. Moini after seeing an ENT for pain in my head and jaw. The doctor quickly realized I was suffering from TMJ and needed to see a specialist. She referred me to Dr. Moini and I am so grateful. Dr.

Moini prescribed a night guard splint and that helped rectify all of my pain. He discovered that my bite was off and I would need orthodontic treatment. He referred me to Dr. Thariani and he was yet another kind and thorough specialist! I finished the orthodontic treatment and had another night guard made. Unfortunately, the guard needed more work than was anticipated and Dr. Moini had another guard made at no charge. His practice is truly excellent. He cares about all of his patients and wants nothing but the best for every single person.

I wish I could take this office with me throughout my life journeys but alas their home is in D. C. If you need a prosthodontist, look no further than Dr. Moini. You will be so glad you did.
