Dr. BOKEL and his staff have served my family for years and we trust them completely. He is not an aggressive drill-and-fill dentist and only does what is necessary. His office staff are very nice and the hygienists are friendly and gentle.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. I had no pain in my tooth BEFORE getting my cavity fixed. AFTER Dr. Bokel "tried" to fix my cavity, I had to be on antibiotics and had to get a root canal. He also went ahead and "fixed" another cavity without my permission while fixing it. After the botched filling and before the root canal the pain was so intense I was in tears. I had to constantly have water in my mouth to soothe the pain. I expressed this intense pain when I called and could NOT get in to see Dr.

Bokel for hours. After insurance, his office sent me a bill for $458. I called and spoke to the receptionist about my concerns regarding this bill. I said if this bill wasn't fixed my family and I will not be back and I will write a review regarding my experience. The receptionist said she would speak to the doctor. A week later, I get a letter from the doctor stating decay was so bad after waiting so long to fix tooth that ultimately root canal was need. The doctor only took off $165 off my bill. Again, my tooth did not hurt before getting my cavity fixed.

Dr. Bokel got to close to my nerve upon fixing my cavity. If my cavity was close to my nerve, I would've had pain BEFORE the "fix". My cavity should've never resulted in antibiotics, excruciating pain, and root canal. My left side of my mouth is still not normal. My family and I will not be going back to this dentist.
