Detailed Introduction

Frutchey Endodontics is a dedicated endodontic practice located at 300 Kenhorst Blvd, Reading, PA 19607. The clinic is led by Dr. Brian C. Frutchey, a highly qualified and experienced Endodontist. Dr. Frutchey grew up in Riverview Park, Pennsylvania, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from Bucknell University. He then achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating as valedictorian of his class. His specialized endodontic training and certificate were completed at Tufts University. With over 20 years of experience in endodontics, Dr. Frutchey established his first practice in Lewisville, Colorado, in 2003, before returning to his hometown in Berks County, Pennsylvania, to be closer to his family. Frutchey Endodontics focuses on preserving natural teeth through advanced endodontic procedures. Their comprehensive services include: Root Canal Treatment: This is the primary service, involving the removal of infected or inflamed pulp from the tooth's interior, cleaning and shaping the canals, and then sealing them to prevent future infection. Root Canal Retreatment: For cases where a previous root canal was unsuccessful or new issues arise, this procedure involves re-opening the tooth to clean and reseal the canals. Endodontic Surgery (Apicoectomy): When conventional root canal treatment isn't sufficient, surgical procedures like an apicoectomy are performed to remove the infected tip of the tooth root. Cracked Teeth Treatment: Addressing pain and preventing infection from cracked teeth, often caused by habits like chewing on hard foods or teeth grinding. Emergency Treatment: Providing immediate relief and care for sudden and severe dental pain, particularly those related to damaged or badly infected teeth and surrounding tissues. Frutchey Endodontics emphasizes patient comfort and aims to make the experience as stress-free and painless as possible. Dr. Frutchey is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, ensuring he stays current with the latest advancements in his field. The clinic's philosophy centers on alleviating pain and saving teeth, leveraging Dr. Frutchey's expertise and a patient-centered approach. The practice operates Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Root canals are not what they used to be! My first appoinment I thought was just a consult, but my Root Canal was done in maybe 25 minutes max! Waiting for the anesthesia (which you can't even feel the neede) was the longest part. Highly satisfied!

If you’re in need of an Endodontist, I highly recommend this practice. I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Frutchey. He’s honest, transparent and super personable. He took time explaining the treatment plan and answering all my questions.

During the procedure I had with him I felt no pain or discomfort. I truly appreciate the care, attention to detail and professionalism of the entire team. Frutchey Orthodontic is honestly the best around. The level of expertise and patient care they provide is top-notch. Highly recommended!

This practice is phenomenal! My wife had a dental infection which resulted in a hospital visit and the development of cellulitis. The hospital had my wife do the leg work to find an emergency appointment. This office stepped up in such a big way when making calls. They were able to get a same week appointment and when an earlier appointment opened up they called my wife immediately to prioritize her appointment.

We are forever thankful. In addition, the care they took upon arrival, they brought my wife right back and allowed her to fill the paperwork while waiting for the anesthesia to set in, they were conscious of her swelling and sensitivity from infections and did an excellent job easing her mind and explaining everything. Great work! You deserve every 5 star review you have! Highly recommended!
