Since Dr. Wilson’s been less involved, I’ve found I’m not as satisfied with the Clarksville location. Every time I go, I get a new hygienist even though I’m scheduled with my normal hygienist Ana. I get a different doctor every time I go in and I feel like they now just want to push a bunch of products or new technology at you rather than actually focusing on the dental process.
Well, I’m a huge fan of doctors evolving their practice, it feels like all of their evolution comes with them just looking to charge you more and more when you go. Some of the recent additions to their team have such chair side manner that I won’t see them and will reschedule if they’re the only doctor on. I’m not sure that I can in good faith recommend this place anymore.

Confused on Fusion Dentals polices + very rude receptionist. (The actual dentist are extremely sweet by the way) I canceled an appointment about a month ago & they said that was fine & gave me another date. Today, I canceled an appointment for tomorrow. I call and was put on hold by a woman & then another woman answered. She was very rude & had an attitude. I explained to her my situation & she tells me there’s an 100 dollar cancellation fee.
She didn’t explain & told me that I needed to pay right then and there. I explained to her the last time I canceled an appointment no one mentioned or charged me 100 dollars. She didn’t explain herself & told me it was still 100 dollars. Is there a policy on how many times you’re able to cancel? I would have just loved an answer also without the attitude being I was extremely respectful.

Fusion Dental has been taking care of my teeth for over 20 years. They have specialists in-house which results in great continuity of care. I’ve had everything from cleanings to crowns to implants and I’ve never had a problem. The front office is very warming and welcoming. I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give them. Started using this dental office in May last year because it is close to where I work. To be fair, the doctors and nurses there seemed to be good (not better or worse) compared to the other dental offices I used before (facility is a bit older though). The place seemed to charge more than the other offices I used before (no out-of-pocket costs for the follow-up visits for fillings or extractions, etc. ). Because its location is most convenient so I paid them out of pocket without question. Received another $100+ bill from them for a "2nd teeth cleaning" (I thought should still be covered by the insurance) later last year but the bill didn't have any explanations or details on what services were given, what claims were made, how much the insurance paid, etc. So I called my dental insurance company (MetLife) to find out that they already charged two oral evaluations on May 29th and 30th (I was told to go back to have a tooth extracted during the visit on 29th and there was no mentioning of any impact to my benefits).
I have had similar situations before in other dental offices and they've never done anything like this (i. e. claiming two evals back to back). So I called the office to see if they made a mistake. The lady basically "explained" that I went back for another visit (instead of me being told to) and they typically charge another oral eval as standard practice. Furthermore, it was "explained" that they don't know what my covered benefits would be and I should be the one on top of that (Really? How come other offices I've been to handle these things differently? How come no one said anything when the appointment in December was made?). Obviously I will be looking for somewhere else for future dental needs.
. . I do hope I am not expecting too much on the service side. . .
