Dr. Fox is a true professional! She explains the procedures before hand and also takes the time to review the treatment with you.

Her staff is also very courteous, they really know how to treat their patients in friendly and professional manner, and practically no waiting time! Their on-line appointment confirmation system makes it easy to upload the appointment automatically to your Outlook calendar. This is awesome!

Stopped going because some of the business practices were not adding up overtime. At first, I was being calling several times to schedule cleanings. By several, I mean 2-3 a week. This transitioned to being scheduled for appointments I didn't make on at least two occasions. I know it wasn't a lapse of memory because I did not do future planning of any appointment during COVID-19. Yet, I received "reminder voicemails" of my appointments.

Maybe they were getting patients mixed? There were at least two occasions when I received mailed bills for bills for charges my insurance said was fully covered. It's unfortunate because the care was solid most of the time. Dr. Fox is a solid dentist but doesn't not have the most transparent business practices. After a few years, I decided to try someone new.

I'm writing this review today because I have no choice. People need to know about what they're in for if they make the mistake of visiting Dr. Fox. While I initially found her to be an excellent dentist who was able to help me get my never-ending battle with plaque under control, the only word I can find to describe the operations of the office is "incompetent. " Dr. Fox's staff and apparently outside companies she uses to book appointments (today's call came from a different zip code and a phone number designed to look like my own) began to badger and harass me if I didn't schedule my recurring 6 month appointment within about five seconds of the 6 month mark.

I initially explained I was incredibly busy at work and with my life and would call to set up an appointment when I had time. Multiple staff members refused to listen and continued harassing me by phone and email, begging me to set up another appointment. This infuriated me. No matter now many times I've spoken to staff by phone and by email, they keep harassing me. I got a new dentist and told Dr. Fox's office I no longer needed their services.

I haven't visited her office in about two years, give or take, and yet today I get yet another harassing phone call and harassing email. I've tried to block the email but she keeps finding a way around it. Conclusion? Do not ever visit Dr. Fox. She will harass you for the rest of your days.

Avoid Norma Fox at all costs. She is unprofessional and she does not have the most transparent business practices. I’ve had several appointments with her in the last year and there was nothing but constant scheduling and billing issues. She does not have a system in place for patient appointments. She would constantly mix up dates and times. I would show up to my appointment that I had made several weeks in advance and she would say that I am not in her system for that day and had a different date for that appointment even though she or her team had called me to confirm the appointment for that specific date. Other times, she would call me saying that I was late when in fact, she had the wrong time of my appointment in her system.

In addition, she would harass me to make appointments with her for other work that needed to get done. Because my insurance is new, only certain care is covered since my insurance has waiting periods for major dental work. I had asked Norma Fox to give me a quote of what the procedure would cost since I was paying OOP. She quoted me an amount and to my surprise, she charged my credit card for a much higher amount. When confronted, she use the excuse that I was charged the “usual customer fee” but she quoted me for a much lower amount just to get me to agree to do the work without me knowing that the cost of the procedure would be much higher than what she had originally said. She does everything verbally to not have any type of proof to confront her; she does not provide any type of quotes, invoices or statements until after all services have been completed and at that point, there’s virtually no way to dispute anything because she has already collected the money. Her pricing is not transparent and she charges whatever she feels like charging.

Also, when confronted about her business malpractices, she gets defensive and accuses people of being rude. You know what’s rude, Norma? SCAMMING your patients. She has also refused to have any type of professional conversation and acted like a child on the phone, hanging up and not picking up the phone. She has also refused to finish the current procedure she was working on but of course, she already charged my credit card for the full amount. She has been reported to the MoCo Board of Dentistry, the Better Business Bureau and the American Dental Association. I hope this review helps other new customers to find a much professional dentist and avoid Norma Fox’s business malpractices at all costs.
