Our experienced dental professionals are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care.
Just moved to Danville from Lexington this past year. Had an emergency dental situation and thought I would give this business a try as my dentist in Lexington had retired. They got me in right away, assessed my problem and treated me like family. I had an infection to a pre-molar and had to have an extraction. The whole staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I’m so glad I found them.

I used to be a fan of them when I started going a few years ago. They apparently went through changes and seem to be more inconvenienced by patients now. I'm constantly called to reschedule my appointments and they seem more concerned with closing early than serving their clients. You're better off going somewhere that values your time as much as their own.

They are amazing and they take good care of their customers. They have a great gentle treatment you will never regret going there, you will love it. I recommend them

Awful Experience please read. I went to Gentle Dental recently because I had an abscessing tooth that needed pulling. I went to this dentist because it was marketed as "gentle" and I am on the spectrum and have bad anxiety. I thought given the high reviews I wouldn't need to worry about this place. When I went in everything started fine, the office ladies were nice, the waiting room was cozy. When I went back though things started getting weird. My hygienists name was Jess and she was great, very kind and polite. The dentist was a male dentist, I didn't catch his name. Jess took an xray and the dentist came in and said, "So what do you want me to do pull it?" To which I responded "Well what do you think you're the dentist, that's what I figured would happen but I wanted you to tell me what I should do" because obviously I didn't go to dental school. He told Jess to set up the stuff for my pull while they ran my insurance to see what it would cover. When we began the process apparently one of the tools in whatever kit Jess got was switched with another and in the wrong place.
He brought this up infront of me several times throughout this expirience and beratted her about it while pulling my tooth it was uncomfortable for me to sit through as a patient. When he began to numb me the first shot was fine, in the second shot I tensed up because he hit on or around a nerve and I felt it shoot through my arm, naturally I clenched my fist and he started yelling "DONT GRAB ME DONT GRAB" I never got close to grabbing him but I thought "okay he's just trying to keep me safe maybe someone grabbed him recently" but it sure didn't help my nerves. He walks out of the room to let the numbing kick in and then comes back awhile later. He starts poking around to see if I'm numb and he finds a spot I'm not entirely numb in. I let him know and he gave me another shot and then without giving me ANY warning or giving the shot ANY time to kick in, immediately starts working on it. It's a little uncomfortable at first and then it starts to HURT so i put my hands up and I'm waving trying to tell him to stop. Jess the hygienist says "she's trying to tell you to stop" he acknowledges that I'm telling him to stop and keeps going. He finishes and I scream. He says to me "well of course you aren't numb all the way you have an abscess!" with a raised voice. Mind you the abscess had already been treated and popped before, it was just still a little swollen, this was never discussed with me. He never said that it wouldn't numb all the way or that I should come back in a few days when the swelling went down NOTHING.
He continues to go on still inches from my face and I was like "okay can you please not lecture me right now I just had a tooth pulled" to which he responded "don't get sassy with me young lady" I am a 24 year old. Not a 12 year old getting reprimanded by my dad. He stormed out and I have never gotten up and out of a chair so quickly. I turned and told the hygienists that was incredibly unprofessional for him to raise his voice and me and call me sassy and that it was a joke to call this dentist "gentle" I explained I came here because of my autism and anxiety and she apologized. I felt so sorry for her that she has to deal with that clearly sexist asshole on the regular. I would NOT call this a gentle dentist. They are NOT anxiety friendly. My tooth has been healing fine and I am glad it is over but to market as anxiety friendly means you need to be held to a higher standard. This place is a joke.
