The dentist and hygienist were great. Their front office staff was very new and couldn't process my insurance. There was no one available to asssist her. I couldn't get an estimate for the service or the future fillings I will need. Two days later I still don't have that information.

I was hoping to handle my concerns privately, but after months of zero reciprocated communication, I feel forced to take my grievance public. Out of respect to the company, I submitted this private review back in October of 2024. I received no follow-up. Since then, I have called Gentle Dental nearly every week. I have either been sent to a voicemail, told I will be called back within 48 hours (to no avail), or given another, more direct line to call (also to no avail). My original review: "I have become increasingly frustrated and disappointed with my experience at Gentle Dental. From front desk incompetence to orthodontist negligence, I am thoroughly dissatisfied and I no longer trust this practice. Nearly every single time I have called the office, I am sent to voicemail, and only 1 of my voicemails has ever been replied to. Last month, when someone actually did answer the phone, I was told that I could come pick up my Invisalign trays "any time before 5 o'clock. " I left work early and arrived at 4:45 to a dark, locked office, and was unable to collect my trays.
My Invisalign treatment plan has been delayed by months due to the orthodontist's oversight. It wasn't until my most recent appointment that I realized that I have been wearing trays that literally don't fit my mouth, because the doctor thought he had called for an extraction of #25, when in reality, he did not. The trays have been cramming four teeth into a space that is only designed for three. This lapse in care has not only delayed the Invisalign process, but potentially caused further harm to my teeth. With the amount of time and money that I have invested in this process, it is disheartening to feel this disrespected. I am canceling all future appointments and terminating my treatment, effective immediately. I look forward to speaking with somebody regarding a refund as soon as possible. " At this point, I feel disregarded and disrespected as a patient. It was one thing to mismanage my orthodontic treatment. But to completely ignore my numerous attempts at communication is blatantly disrespectful.
I just hope this last ditch effort will help me come to some kind of resolution. Update 1/6 @ 10:34a: After receiving the response from Gentle Dental, I called the number provided. And again, I was met with another voicemail. Update 1/6 @ 11:30a: Gentle Dental responded to my last update, and gave me the same phone number to call. I called again, and yet again, I was sent to voicemail. At this point, I expect an email from Gentle Dental to set up an appointment to discuss this matter. I am done calling different numbers and leaving voicemails.

I always went to Gentle Dental in Mill Creeck never had any problem, decided change because Kirkland was close home so I schedule a simple cleaning. Got there the recepcionist said i had to do a full exam with X Ray. Okay we did she said the insurance will cover that I had to pay only $60 for the fluoride plus $70 if I have to apply something in my gum okay I did paid. After a month bills started to come to my home. I called the insurance and they said that provider was not on netwtork.
Well they never let me know the doctor was not on network and they assured insuranced will pay the rest. I am really frustraded with that place and will never come back. I had paid almost $200 for a simple cleaning. They never cost me more then 50 on the another office.

Kirkland Gentle Dental made me feel right at home from my first visit! I feel that with Dr. Liu I’m in great hands! Ive felt some pain in my mouth (when I chew) for the past 3 years and the prior two dentists I saw claimed “nothing could be seen”. However Dr. Liu showed me the issue within seconds of me opening my mouth.
Under his care I know I’ll be taken care of as he also gives you advice on how to keep your teeth healthy prior to the next appointment. Thank you Dr. Liu and everyone at gentle dental!
