Cosmetic dentistry services, such as professional teeth whitening (including in-office Zoom whitening and take-home kits) and dental veneers, are also available to enhance smiles. Additionally, they offer specialized care like root canal therapy (endodontics), gum treatment (periodontal treatment), and oral surgery, including tooth extractions. Gentle Dental Lacey emphasizes patient comfort and accessibility. They often accommodate emergency appointments on the same day and offer extended hours, including weekends, at some Gentle Dental locations. They strive to make quality dental care accessible by accepting many dental insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, MetLife, Guardian, Cigna, Aetna, Altus, and United Concordia. For those without insurance, they provide flexible payment options such as the Essential Dental Plan, CareCredit third-party financing, and various credit card payments, with some orthodontic treatments having no money down options. The friendliest front desk woman! She always has answers to my questions, responds quickly, and is extremely personal. She remembers everything! The doctor is also willing to answer any questions you may have. And the dental assistant takes extreme care and informs you of everything that is going on.

Appt 1 - Was a great appointment. Saw Dentist A and she was AMAZING! Super confident, very friendly and you could just feel comfortable knowing that she knew what she was doing. I had many teeth issues because of poor life choices. 8, 9, 10 were first! Tooth 8 had 5 different fillings that needed to be done, however she said NOTHING to me about needing a crown, and was confident that they could be filled with no issue. Appt 2 - Dentist B. While B was very friendly, you could tell that she lacked any confidence. Went in to get 8, 9, and 10 filled. While 8 and 9 had many issues, like chipped corners and multiple surface fillings, she also did not say anything about crowns During this 3 hr appt, she "fixed" 8, 9, 10 and drilled 12 and did a temp filling. Did not sand or polish any of the teeth because of time. Said she would fix them next time. When I sat up and saw my teeth I was mortified. She did not form my teeth into actual teeth. The fillings were done to where I still had the shape of chips on my teeth. I immediately told the dental hygienist as well as the gal at the front desk that I was very unhappy and why didn't the other girl do the work? I was informed that she was only going to be there one more week. I scheduled her next available appointment so that she could fix what was messed up. Appt 3 - Met with Dentist A this time. I was about 10 minutes late due to my blood sugar dropping and needing to get that under control before I could drive. I called and was assured it would not be an issue.

Dentist A said she would get to what she had time to. She told me, I can put filling on top of the fillings to form your teeth better, but they will just fall off. She was not willing to drill out anything that someone else had worked on prior and also because that was apparently not what I was there for. (When I made the appointment that was ALL I was there for). She fixed what she could, and then did fillings on the bottom front teeth. These are perfect and still going strong. Again, Dentist A. . . AMAZING Fast forward about a few days or a week - The "fillings" Dentist A put on to cover up the mistakes of Dentist B had fallen off. I called and spoke to the Manager, I told her I was NOT comfortable going back to dentist B. She said just come in and let her take a look and see what she can do to fix them. I agreed against my better judgement. Appt 4 - Dentist B came in and said we need to do crowns on your teeth. Okay great, but I'm not paying for them because you messed them up beyond repaid. She said, we won't charge you for the buildup just the out of pocket for the crowns. I can't afford that. Please just fix them.

We spent another 4 hours at this appointment. After drilling out and re filling fillings and her letting me see every step of the way, I was in agreement with most everything, except when i told her I didn't want a gap in my tooth that was never there to begin with, she ended up making both sides of 8 very wide. I had finally had enough and just said it's fine and let her finish. I asked her if she could please smooth out the surface of 8 and she told me, and I quote, "Your tooth is already so thin, I don't want to file it anymore. " Okay fine then don't. She files it anyway. I knew this was bad. When I got out to my car and looked in the mirror and realized just how terrible it still looked.  I am not understanding why it was so hard for her to form a real tooth? My teeth do not match. Shape or color. I called the desk and she just repeated what Dentist B said, we can do crowns and won't charge you the build up since that is technically the filling. So you'll just have to pay for the crowns. But why? My teeth were not this misshapen and discolored when I went in there? I can't afford this. Fast forward a month - The front of tooth 8 where she filed it down after saying she wasn't going to because it was already too thin, is now coming off. Like the actual front of my tooth is shaving off when I brush my teeth. It is insane! I guess I have no choice but to pay for crowns now but will not be doing it here.

Hard to give any dentist 5 stars… it’s the dentist. . . But they were pretty good.

They have all the latest tech so you can see exactly what’s going on with your teeth up on a big monitor, both X-rays and pictures of the inside of your mouth. The dentist was efficient had me in and out fairly quickly which is me is one of the most important things. They have always had two people working on me vs just one like at my old dentist so maybe that’s why it went faster!

I moved up here from California and was terrified to find a new dentist. Mine & my kids experience has been absolutely delightful. I was able to get in and get the necessary work done in a timely manner. My son was able to get his treatment done without being referred out to a pediatric dentist.

My daughter loves coming and being greeted by the staff and at the front desk with Ms. Blanca. Our experience so far has been a treat and we look forward to continue working with the Gentle Dental Team 😀.
