I have been trying to find a good dentist and dentist office for a couple years now and this office was great. The doctor was great. The hygienist was great. I really like the hygienist.

I have really bad, social anxiety and the hygienist is really cool and laid back and nice! she made me feel very comfortable. I didn’t feel awkward or embarrassed like I usually do at the dentist or doc office. She didn’t hurt me she didn’t rush. I actually enjoyed my dentist visit and she did a really good job cleaning my teeth because every time I go to the dentist, they ( it’s been like 3 different offices) somehow avoid doing my cleaning and fillings and tell me I need these expensive things done and then keep calling me to push back my appointments until I finally just give up Sooooo glad I found this office!!! Definitely recommend! Went back to the dentist today for my fillings (5-29) Again, great experience I love this dentist office and everybody in it!

First time here in over 10 years. Very thorough and good first visit. I was sad to leave my other dentist, but due to insurance, I had to change. I’m glad I found Gentle Dental again!

Special shout out to my hygienist Connie, she explained everything from start to finish, she helped me understand things about my hygiene that I never knew before. I was so amazed. Thank you Connie you’re amazing!!!!

I had two dental appointments a couple of weeks ago. After each appointment, I received an email asking whether I was happy with my experience, to leave a review on Google, or if I was not happy, to contact them directly with a link that was in the email. Unfortunately, at this point, I have taken to leaving a review on Google. I used the link in the email twice and left my comments as not one person has reached out. I was left waiting for approximately 40 minutes on my first appointment after the x-rays were done. I had to wait for the dentist. On the second visit, which was the following day, I had a “cleaning” appointment. I’m seeing that these appointments are for 60 minutes, but I was in and out in approximately 20 minutes. That is scraping the teeth cleaning tartar, flossing, polishing, and fluoride.

All of my teeth were not polished… the front ones were. There was a lot in my mouth left over and had to spit quite a few times. Too bad she did not use all of it to polish each and every tooth, and all surfaces. She then proceeded to put a fluoride treatment on my teeth, which I found out when I was checking out was not covered. That cost me $13. I should have been asked if I wanted that to be done or not. While still in the back the same hygienist made me an appointment for six months. When I got to the front, she asked if I would like to follow up in six months. I told her that I had already done that in the back, and she did not see it.

She said the technician must not have followed the full process. I am highly disappointed that I was only given 20 minutes when a full appointment is reserved for 60 minutes. The flossing was not done properly. She used floss to go between the teeth but not actually flossing the teeth themselves. Just making sure she hit each gap between teeth. I am really unsure why no one has bothered to reach out to me, I feel like I have done the proper thing by reaching out to the office first, I do not like leaving these kind of reviews. I’m sure it’s obvious that I do not recommend this dentist office. 26210 Harper Avenue, Saint Clair Shores, MI.
