Had tried to reach Gentle Dentristry for 2 days after having my appointment canceled because apparently my coverage showed inactive. When finally able to talk to someone I was trying to explain I have the same Ucare ID Number for Medical, then a VISA Card with $1600 credit for Dental which I had verified with the folks at Ucare. I was in mid-sentence when phone was slammed down on other end. Rude, unprofessional, and condescending attitude is totally unacceptable. And as a reminder, I show up 15 minutes prior to ANY appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork and provide documentation for said appointment, so I don't understand why my appointment should be canceled.

The last time I went here for a cleaning, I told her my tooth hurt so bad when I touched it/brushed it. She told me it was probably just because of the recession on the tooth next to it. I’m not a dentist but I knew that wasn’t right. I finally was able to be seen at another dentist and they said I have a large cavity on that tooth and might need a root canal. I want to know WHY WOULD YOU NOT HAVE TAKEN AN X-RAY? I have been in pain for months.
I think that was incredibly lazy and over this time frame it has only gotten worse. I am mad every time I drink something hot/cold, chew on the right side of my mouth, or brush my teeth. Be better for your future patients.

I've seen at least 4 hygienists and two dentists here. Every single person that works here is so kind and friendly. From the front desk staff, to the folks that work on your teeth, everything is wonderful. The place is clean. The work is perfect every time. I grew up with dental anxiety from too many mistakes, and these folks are helping me kick that (: they deserve cards 🙏

I originally came to this facility at the end of March due to my daughter having tooth pain. They confirmed she needed the tooth extracted with a spacer put in as part of the dental treatment plan. The soonest they could get my daughter in was 3 weeks later on 4/16, she however developed an abscess. I called and asked if they had any emergency openings to get the tooth extracted. One positive thing is they were able to get me in, however when I showed up for the appointment a dental hygienist came out and said “we are ready for Jaycees teeth cleaning”. I explained that I did not schedule a tooth cleaning, my daughter is in pain and has an infection, and needs this taken care of. The dental hygienist brought us back, pulled up her chart, and made a “sideways comment” stating that “it looks like this tooth was diagnosed a year ago” whoever “diagnosed” that tooth “a year ago” did not inform me she had any cavities at all.
The provider came back and told me that the infection was normal and it could wait one more week. I stated I was not comfortable with waiting and I could call around and go elsewhere but I really don’t want to go into the weekend with her having an abscess and that I was not comfortable. She did agree to pull the tooth and did the procedure, and then pulled me aside and said to cancel the appointment next week for the additional filling because my daughter was not going to allow her to do novicane again. Which fine, we can go to another clinic with gas. I asked if the spacer was put in and she said no because she “doesn’t need it”…. I was trying to figure out why since it was put in my original dental plan for my daughter and she walked away from me. They all seemed very irritated with me.
I got no after care visit paperwork or instructions, I went to go pay before I left and they acted like they didn’t know what I was paying for. They also didn’t give me a receipt or any paperwork regarding any procedures. I asked the receptionist to please confirm with the provider if she needs a spacer because that is important for a young child’s dental health if she does need one, they are the ones that first told me she needed one, and I didn’t hear from them. I have already made an appointment at another facility because I felt like everyone was upset with me and was unkind. They did do my request and pull her tooth, however it was an unpleasant experience.
