I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience at this dental office, and I would give ZERO stars if I could. From the moment I walked in, this place felt like a complete scam operation rather than a genuine dental practice that cares about its patients. First, when I called to schedule my appointment, they confirmed that my copay with my insurance would be $0. But of course, when I checked out, they suddenly claimed I owed $50, even though my insurance clearly states otherwise. After I called my insurance company on the spot and confirmed I owed nothing, the receptionist backtracked and said, “Oh, you’re good to go. ” How many other patients have they tricked into paying unnecessary fees? The office itself is disgustingly outdated and unsanitary. The ceilings were exposed, and the entire place was dusty—not exactly what you’d expect from a healthcare facility. The incompetence continued when I was taken for X-rays.

The dental assistant was extremely rough, shoving the receptor into my mouth with no care, causing bruising and lingering pain in my hard palate. Not to mention, I was left sitting in the room for 30 minutes, only for someone else to come in and say they had to move me to a different room to do the X-rays all over again. Absolutely unprofessional. Then comes the biggest scam of all—the dentist diagnosed me with “advanced gum disease” and pushed me to get an expensive deep cleaning. Mind you, I’m 22 years old, brush and floss daily, and have never had any dental issues. There is NO WAY I have advanced gum disease. It was clear they were just trying to upsell me on unnecessary procedures to squeeze money out of me. When I asked how much the deep cleaning would cost, the staff gave me a quote saying I’d owe $300 out of pocket—even though my insurance showed it should only be $64.

When I pointed this out, the girl handling the billing just stood there clueless, acting like she had no idea how that was possible. Then, suddenly, she comes back and says, “Well, if you do it today, we can do it for half off. ” HALF OFF? What kind of sketchy sales tactic is this? Is this a dental office or a used car dealership?! This place is a JOKE. They lie about insurance costs, push unnecessary treatments, and have an outdated, unsanitary office. DO NOT waste your time or money here. If you value honesty, professionalism, and a clean dental environment, go somewhere else.

My chart was not read prior to my appointment. It wasn’t until I was in the chair that they noticed I have kidney disease. I was asked if I had a note from my doctor, but I was never informed I needed one. The procedure could not be done and I wasted 4 hours of sick leave from my job because my chart wasn’t read prior to my visit.

Sahil Bardai, I cant agree more to what you deeply described in your review. I visited this facility back in 2019. I was told I needed to do a deep cleaning. They told me what my insurance covered and what I would pay out of packet. I agreed and Paid $400+ and did the deep cleaning.

Six years later, I got a call recently from a collector telling me I owe $495 for Gentile Family Dental clinic for the deep cleaning I did in June of 2019 which they confirmed the amount my insurance would cover. I was in shock at the moment. Sahil Bardai you said it all and I recommend people to read your review before they decide to visit this place.

It was a terrible experience I had a 4pm appointment and the receptionist Jazz was rushing me she said she had to go she refused to verify my insurance information she just said I need to pay or I was going to collections! I’m trying to explain to her my insurance pays for X-rays she refused to speak to the insurance representative to verify, she was just so ready to go she was so rude and unprofessional! I had just lost my mom I was already extremely sad & to be treated like that was awful. I had never been treated like that before, it no compassion at all and you don’t leave until last patient is finished and checked out.
