I've been a patient at Global Dental for several years, but I've noticed a significant decline in service over the last 12 months. The main issue is consistent overcharging for basic dental hygiene, and during every visit, there's a push for unnecessary X-rays or additional procedures. This shift in focus from patient care to financial gains has been disappointing.

it's time for a change in dental care providers.

This office is the most unprofessional place I've ever been to. I declined taking a panoramic xray as I have already had my wisdom teeth out. Dr Fu refused to look at all the all the bite wings they took that day and said I must take a panoramic xray in order to see if I have any cavities. I didn't feel like arguing because I felt very vulnerable in the chair and wanted to get the procedure done.

Little does he know I work in the dental field and FYI bitewings show cavities better than any panoramic xray. HUGE red flags! Do yourself a favour and find a dentist that isn't negligent and radiates a patient unnecessarily just to bill insurance. When I found myself a better dentist, I called this office to obtain my dental records/xrays and they pretend they don't like understand english! My new dental office also called and emailed multiple times and they never responded. When they finally sent me my xrays, they go out of their way to send me OLD xrays from 2017 when I took new xrays 2 days prior! If you can't advocate for yourself here they will take advantage of you.

Please know you have options as a patient and you don't need to be subjected this.

Dr. Fu is the best dentist I met in Toronto. Strongly recommended for those who have dental issues especially if you have any complicated problems that other dentist cannot handle, come to see Dr. Fu. That's what I do for the past 20 years. The Clinic is very clean and staff is very professional.

My daughter had her 4 wisdom teeth removed on one visit at Global Dental Markham location. We had been worried as she was having some gum infection at the time. She was given some antibiotics the day before in prevention. To our relief, the teeth extraction went incredibly well and they did follow-up call the next day to check on her condition and gave reminders for after surgery care. I was in disbelief that my daughter was able to handle all kinds of food at a wedding in only two days! Overall, We find that Global Dental employs very modern technology and equipments in treating their patients.

The facility is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and caring. We strongly recommend Dr Fu and the team for all your dental care. Ps. This review was meant to be written a long time ago and I am glad I finally did.
