***Update 2/10/21 I visited Dr Gordon today for the first time in over a year, and was so impressed by the protocols the staff has put in place to keep the office clean and the staff and patients safe. I have been EXTREMELY cautious visiting any doctors for fear of putting myself or any of my high risk loved ones in danger of contracting Covid. Dr Gordon’s office knew that I was nervous and went above and beyond to relieve my anxiety.

They were thorough, but still got me in and out of the office quickly and efficiently- all while exhibiting kindness and compassion. In addition to their kindness, they are wonderful dentists, and honest people. I cannot recommend them enough!! Since moving to the DC area I had struggled to find an honest, dependable dentist and I am so happy to finally have found one with Dr Gordon.

I was seeing a dentist close to my home just out of convenience, but they wanted to do all sorts of unnecesaary work! My husband asked me to go see Dr Gordon for a second opinion, and although I was put off by the 30min drive from our home, it was the best decision I could have made. He re-examined my X-rays and agreed that I didn't need any of the 6 procedures the other dentist had recommended (and tried to scare me into getting!) He also fixed a small chip in my tooth right there on the spot (I wasn't scheduled for that) so that I wouldn't have to make another trip back to the office. It was by far the best dental experience I have had in the DC area!!!

My 1st trip to see a dentist in my lifetime, was as a 21 year-old. Dr. Leonard Gordon was referred to me by 2 of my friends and co-workers (Crystie & Revonne) . You may ask why I waited so long to see a dentist? Well, I grew up poor in Mississippi, born as the 2nd of 7 children reared by my now deceased parents (both parents were educators). We did not have dental insurance, so there were no regular cleanings for us. The only time we sought dental intervention is when we were in severe pain. When I arrived to Dr. Gordon, the 21 years of neglect was evident. I needed several cavities, and as for the initial cleaning, my mouth was in such bad shape, the cleaning had to be spread across 4 visits. Thankfully, none of my teeth needed to be pulled. So even though my teeth were in bad shape, I was smiling with the originals. I am pleased to report that after 37 years of tender love and care from Dr.

Gordon and crew, I am still smiling with the originals. I have lived in various locations in the DC metropolitan area (Gaithersburg, Alexandria, Greenbelt, Bowie). Although most people would probably have changed to a closer dentist, I did not want to do that. Although it meant longer commutes for dental cleanings, I decided that Dr, Gordon was the only dentist for me. You may say that I must be crazy, driving from Bowie MD to Gaithersburg for dentists appointments. This was the right choice, and the only choice for me. I am happy with my decision, and the results are evident. 8 years ago, I was having some bone deterioration, and was referred to a specialist who felt that the tooth in that area would eventually have to be removed. Well, Dr, Gordon went out on a limb to do all that he could to save that tooth. He performed a deep cleaning, and gave me some Placid Arestin medication that stopped the bone deterioration, and turned the situation around totally. That was in 2015. 8 years later, everything is looking good and the tooth that the specialist thought I would loose, is still a key player of the original smile mentioned earlier.

There is so much more I can say. Dr. Gordon and his staff are friendly, and provide the best customer service and care. Even though I am not good about brushing and flossing as often as I should, The cleanings I receive are usually pain-free. Trust me when I tell you these people know their stuff. They are real people who care about you as a person. They focus on keeping you healthy. If you need a good dentist, don't hesitate to give the Gordon Center a try. You won't regret it.

Dr. Gordon is incredible. I’ve suffered from TMJ for years which caused me to have severe headaches with no relief. I decided to get a second opinion and Dr. Gordon figured it out immediately. He called another Dr for me to get me the additional help I needed and was so patient and walked me through their conversation. He cares about you and is very knowledgeable.

You feel like you’re being taken care of and you’re in good hands. I’m so blessed I found him. Also, Billie at the front desk is amazing. She’s so friendly and always welcomes you by your name with a smile. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I even got my mom to go to him and now he’s doing wonders for her.

I've been coming to Dr. Gordon for years! And I'm always impressed at his kindness and level of care.

Him and his staff are amazing! Ive never felt like they're trying to do too much, or get me to buy treatments I don't need, (which I have experienced at other dental offices!) he is definitely a trustworthy person and professional! His staff was especially kind to me after the pandemic when I had lost a good chunk of my business and I still needed care. I will never forget that
