After being pregnant last year, I’ve been extremely nervous for a dentist appointment. Between the late night bowls of cereal or falling asleep for the night unexpectedly and not brushing my teeth, I was certain I had a million cavities and would need teeth pulled, etc. I also have a very sensitive spot on my upper molars where the root/nerve is somewhat exposed and it’s extremely painful when it’s touched. Past hygienists and dentists have heard that and then went, “let me see!,” and touched it and I would practically jump out of the chair.

I heard about Gorges Dental on a Facebook moms group, saw the amazing reviews, and made an appointment. We started off my appointment with taking some X-rays and then Dr. Omar came in and listened to my concerns and recommended I change the order of my hygiene routine to help address the sensitivity and then walked me through each and every x-ray. I do have a small cavity and a filling from a previous cavity that chipped and needs to be redone.

Dr. Omar took actual pictures of those two teeth so I could see exactly what he was looking at which I thought was so cool! Dr. Omar had time to do my cleaning and he was very gentle and didn’t even touch the areas that are sensitive! I am SO thankful I found Gorges Dental.

I highly recommend Dr Dubin at Gorgeous Dental. In addition to his outstanding dental skills he is an excellent listener, explains everything clearly and really cares about his patients. The office staff are terrific. My dentist of 40 years retired & I was concerned about finding another great dentist. I am happy Dr Dubin was recommended by a friend. He’s great!

Found Gorges Dental after shopping around for a new dentist after moving to the area a year ago. I have really bad dental anxiety and was looking for a place with good reviews and a sedation option for more involved dental work. I was having some tooth pain and Dr. Omar was able to get me in for a new patient visit and I we worked on a treatment plan. I got really lucky they had a cancellation right after my appointment and we were able to fill the cavity in the tooth that was giving me problems.

Dr. Omar was fantastic and took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I have more work scheduled with sedation but I am grateful I found a dental office that makes me feel comfortable and cared for while in their office. Highly recommend Gorges Dental!

The best dentist office in Ithaca! I can say that with confidence as I’ve been to every single one. The staff are super friendly, you can tell they are treated well, it’s clean, they do an amazing job. For someone who has had some bad experiences in other offices, I feel SO comfortable there and I do longer dread my dentist appointments. Highly recommend!
