I was always very happy with the care received here. Upon changing insurance I was disapointed with what was communicated to me about how payment was going to be handled and what my responsibility was going to be. My wife and I just changed insurance due to her leaving a job. We specifically selected a company that listed Granite City as in network. When I arrived at my appointment I was told that the new company was not in network, but not to worry because they ALWAYS pay.

After I suggested maybe they pay because they list Granite City as in network, I was again reassured there would not be a problem. When I received my statement there was nothing applied from the insurance company. It showed I owed the entire bill. When going back to the insurance website, we saw that the in network listing for Granite City had been removed. We contacted both the insurance company and Granite City, but neither would work with us on it.

I submitted my payment today and will be finding other care that is in network. Edited after response: My frustration is not with the insurance company. My frustration is with you for originating to me that the insurance company always pays, and for not informing me what my out of pocket would be if they did not.

Granite City has been my dentist since I moved to St. Cloud 8 years ago. I've had no issues with them. Building is clean, wait times are usually quick, hygienists and dentist are proficient and knowledgeable.
