This morning I had my wisdom tooth extracted after having waited for years , until it cracked last year when I bit on a bone. I was in last week for a quick X-Ray and scheduled the extraction for this morn. I must the folks there are super nice to you and deal with you ever so gently. The place itself is well lit and pleasant and feels welcoming. I can't remember who assisted me with the X-Ray , but thanks to her and also special mention for Carlos who assisted me long with Dr. Jay H . . . .

many thanks both for making me feel calm & comfortable during the whole process. They charged me 70USD for the initial screening & X-Ray and 395USD for the extraction since it was the wisdom tooth. I hope it heals up soon enough. This was my first visit here and very happy with the overall process. I don't have any photos to post , except that of my tooth that was extracted . . . . :)

The staff was super nice, but during my call to them before making my appt. , I explained what was wrong and they agreed to see me and stuff. I normally see a different dentist office, but they were closed and i was in pain. Well, I got there, and long story short, I paid them $70 only to tell me to go see someone else with more specialized training(whom they referred me to, who was closing within 30 mins so they couldnt get me in AND who is also out of network for all insurances.

) They did nothing for me and im still in pain trying to find someone to see me sooner than my actual dentist can. I could have used that $70 for some personal stuff. Im very upset.

THEY WILL DO UNNECESSARY WORK 2 stars because the lady who cleans teeth is really nice. I went here a year or so ago. I did not realize that they were out of network (which appears to be a trend based on other reviews so I am mentioning it) and I paid a lot more than I should have for a few procedures (which went fine). Although when setting up my treatment plan I did have to specifically request that he work on the worst teeth prior to the others so they didn’t get worse, which struck me as unprofessional. My last visit I had gone in and he told me I have 6 cavities and they worked up the pricing etc to fill them which was 1500+.

The other work I had done was extensive so the higher expense I thought was just what it cost. But I had never paid that much for fillings. This is when I actually realized I was out of network. (My fault not figuring it out sooner I guess- I don’t understand insurance) I found a new dentist and got the remainder of my extensive work done - but had to hold off on cleaning and cavities for cost and scheduling reasons. Last week- at least 9+ months later- I got them checked.

I have 2 cavities. Not 6. The lady did say there were one or 2 spots to watch but 2 fillings needed only. I wonder how much other unnecessary work I paid for at out of network prices.
