Detailed Introduction

Greenbrier Valley Pediatric Dentistry, located at 1749 Jefferson St N, Lewisburg, WV, is a dedicated pediatric dental clinic committed to providing specialized oral healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents. The practice is led by Dr. Rebecca Kucera, often referred to by her patients as "Dr. Becca." Dr. Kucera holds a DDS degree and has undergone extensive post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry, completing an additional two to three years of intensive, specialized education after dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. This specialized training equips her to address the unique dental needs of young patients, including those with special health care needs. The clinic emphasizes creating a positive and stress-free environment for children. Their office features a comfortable waiting area with a play space for kids, including a coloring table and a small gym. Treatment rooms are designed to be kid-friendly, with individual TVs and headphones to help children relax during procedures. Greenbrier Valley Pediatric Dentistry focuses on both primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care, aligning with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's recommendations for early dental visits, ideally soon after a child's first tooth emerges. They aim to make dental visits enjoyable and educational, helping children build confidence and establish healthy oral habits for a lifetime. The clinic also utilizes modern dental technology, such as the Solea® Dental Laser, to offer anesthesia-free and drill-free procedures in many cases, further enhancing patient comfort. They are currently accepting new patients and work with various insurance providers.

The reception are rude. Our son had covid and couldn't make his first appointment and we rescheduled only for him to be sick again and they won't take him as a patient. I know they have a policy but they won't take my son because he is sick but they won't reschedule either canceling him as a patient. I got upset at the receptionist saying maybe I should take legal representation and she said oh you can send us a Dr excuse when my husband asked if he could do that they refused he talked to 3 different women.

I suggest going somewhere else especially if you have more than one kid. One brings home a sickness and they have an appointment they won't take them or reschedule. Wrote this in a huff.

Do not recommend! My son was a patient here for 8 years (he went here for his first dental visit at age 1) and we faithfully made every appointment until recently when my daughter was diagnosed with a rare vascular tumor. Rescheduling a dentist appointment was not on my mind while we were constantly back and forth to Cincinnati Childrens hospital. I tried to call to explain and was told I missed 2 appointments that they would no longer see my child.

It’s sad the dentist here is not committed to her patients nor does she take the time to care.

I would leave a zero if it would let me. My child was seen for routine care and a tooth that was bothering her. This was her first time seeing a dentist without being put under. She put her hand up by her mouth for 2 seconds and they labeled her as a problem and refused to do anything.

They didn't even try to talk to her or explain what was going on even though I told them before hand she was nervous. In all, they spent about five minutes with her, did nothing, and still charged us. I now drove over two hours just to have her see a dentist that actually cares about helping kids.

Never do I ever try to bash a medical provider, so please don't misunderstand. I'm just here sharing my own personal experience. I had been going here very faithfully for years until we weren't able to go to one appointment. We had tried to reschedule but they told my mom that they would no longer be able to see me anymore.
