This was truly the best dental experience of my entire life. I've always been apprehensive about going to the dentist because I was embarrassed that I couldn't afford to go when I was younger. Everyone who works there is so kind and non-judgmental. Dr. Hasegawa explained everything he was doing and why, which really helped calm my nerves.

Speaking of nerves, I needed two fillings, and lemme tell you that the numbing injection didn't hurt AT ALL. That's the first time that's ever happened - it was like magic. The procedure itself was very quick, and the numbing didn't take over my entire mouth like it does with some dentists - no danger of accidentally biting your cheek! I can't say enough good things about my experience. Also, their music selection is very good.

DR. Hassegawa’s wife Pam is a really rude and petty women. I had an outstanding balance and needed time to pay it off. I lost my job and she had the big nerve to mail me and on the front of the envelope stating “BILL IS LATE” instead of being professional and calling me.

I recently had a horrible crown procedure at this clinic where the doctor could not effectively numb the area of the tooth. At the first appointment, it took multiple (5-6) injections - never had that many before. I experienced discomfort and pain for about a week after this first appointment, which I heard is abnormal for this sort of procedures. Then when the doctor could not successfully apply local anesthesia, yet again, at the crown fitting, he just went ahead with the procedure even after I told him and his assistant multiple times that I still felt pain.

While anesthesia is not always required for this procedure, I specifically shared with the team that I wanted to be numbed due to my pain tolerance and teeth sensitivity. When I kept squirming in the chair and groaning, the doctor remarked, "Oh, you really feel the pain?" as if I'd been faking it all along. After this experience, my partner and I decided to look for a new dentist - someone who actually cares about his patients.
