OMG, I thought I was in a movie or being pranked. I have never been in such a rude, dishonest, unprofessional Dentist office in my entire life. I looked these ppl up on Google (never reading any reviews) but let me tell you , I should have! The front desk " lady" had the most horrible business ethic I have ever seen. She talked over me several times as well as hung up in my face when I politely asked and told her to please explain my upcoming procedures and my fear of the dentist and she would need to call in a prescription before me getting several hours of work done. Every word I said she interrupted, talked and spoke down to me. Had I not been driving and had her on speaker phone with a client in my car, it would be hard to explain the rudeness of the front desk office manager inwhich she stated she was over 30 years of working Maybe she should retire, because obviously she knows nothing about customer service nor professionalism.

I was one minute away from her , after she hung up in my face I came to the office and of course me standing up for myself or being an advocate for my own health. She portrayed me as I was getting loud or aggressive because of my tone. blah blah, blah. Before arriving at her office I told her I wanted to cancel my appointment because first she dropped the ball on my meds , then was rude and I was smart enough not to let anyone work on me if this is the culture at that establishment. I came to speak to Dr and get my medical records and authorizations. Wow had I read these reviews before hand I would have known they are not using the Doctors they are getting authorizations for and milking the insurance companies and then tell you AFTER that you would be out of pocket to continue the process because you have reached your maximum.

I could go on and on. I contacted the media and my insurance company to inform them and file a grievance. The best part of this was that I was granted a " Ram in the Bush" her behavior and the whole office astompere allowed my wisdom to say nah I will pass on this Dentist. And after I read all the reviews ( real ones) I now know it wasn't my imagination because several other ppl experienced the exact same thing. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN 👎

I had been a patient at this place for years. After the whole Covid thing, I didn't go to the dentist for a while. I had no issues, take relatively good care of my teeth and figured everything was good. Then started having a problem - pain in a molar. I made an appointment for a Wednesday, confirming my insurance on that phone call. Then, hours before my appointment they called me to reconfirm insurance info. No big deal, right? So when I show up, they refused service because I did not have my ID with me.

Normally, I would not think twice about that, but I was in pain. They set up an appointment for me on the following Monday - 5 days later. The more I thought about it on my drive home, with my tooth still hurting bad, I called back and cancelled the Monday appointment. Hung up with them then called another dentist, who seen me the next day. Won't be back to Healthy Smiles again. That was ridiculous.

The "manager" Kristen is the most rude and awful woman I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. She is rude and I will 1000% be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Absolutely hands down the best Dentist in Flint Michigan!! I have no fear of this place and I can't do the dentist. I shake, sweat, feel physically ill but after meeting him, and him understanding my needs .. he was amazing. So amazing! Gentle and kind. Staff is so awesome. Extra numbing wasn't even a question and I appreciate that!
