I have been going to Dr Heiselman for a couple of years now since moving here. He and his staff do an outstanding job. He is very thorough, skilled, and has provided excellent care for both my wife and I. He spent extra time to make sure everything was done properly and to his high standards.

In another instance, he was able to correct a tooth problem that a prior dentist had attempted multiple times and then wanted to refer to a surgeon. Dr Heiselman identified the issue and was able to fix it the first time.

Everything about our visit was fantastic! I'd been looking for a good dentist for a very long time and here I found a great dentist with a great staff. The dental hygienist explained everything she was doing during my daughter's cleaning and exam. The doctor took plenty of time to address our questions regarding possible need for orthodontics and gave a good referral.

Our visit EXCEEDED my expectations. Also, the staff was very friendly, making me feel very much at home in this Madeira-based business.

I've been a patient with Dr. Heiselman's office for nearly a decade and am very disappointed in their service recently. During the 2020 pandemic I received a filling at their office and contracted Coronavirus (this was in 2020, prior to vaccines being available and became really sick; I still suffer with long-covid symptoms). During the filling they accidentally left an air bubble in my filling and caused exposed nerve damage for 2 years. In early 2023 I had to get the filling redone to be able to chew on that side of my mouth without pain. While they X-rayed me the tech/team said numerous times "Who did your filling?! This was not our work!" .

. which it was. They checked my records to find they had done the filling and then got quiet and said "we'll these things happen". I was charged full price for my filling to be corrected. Fast forward to my 6mo check-up after that, I called to let them know I was not going to make it to the appointment on time as I was held up at work and asked to reschedule. The receptionist or whomever was working the phone was extremely rude and told me she would call me back to reschedule the appointment.

I never received a call-back and called at the end of the day. The receptionist then proceeded to very angsty-yell at me saying their system is going to be down for the next 2 weeks and that she would not be able to schedule anything and that she'd call me back when it was up. Not sure why she felt the need to yell it at me?¿? but none-the-less she did and then proceeded to not call me back to reschedule the appointment. Instead I received a $100 fine for missing the appointment. They've been a bummer the past couple years!
