I always try to take care of my oral health and in the past I had braces, gum graft etc. so If there is a real problem I don't hesitate to take care of it. But, I've been to this office 3 times for my regular cleaning and EVERY single time their doctors warn me for a problem that doesn't exist with my teeth or my gum in order for me to choose the deep cleaning option. Today was not an exception and after they told me that I need deep cleaning every 3 months, and after I refused that option because of the high cost, they denied me the regular cleaning and sent me home.

I feel sorry for the young staff that is forced to convince people to spend more money in an apparently professional office. Also, I received random bills a couple of times, and after I contacted them they said there was a mistake. Not everyone follows up for the received bills, so I can imagine that this strategy is also aligned with their higher purpose: money.

I recently visited Herndon Modern Dentistry for my treatment, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was amazing--super friendly, efficient, and truly dedicated to their patients. Dr. Hatem is an absolute superstar! While speaking with her, I realized that the staff hadn't even had their lunch yet (my appointment was at 2pm) because they were so focused on making sure every patient received the best care possible.

Their teamwork is like a well-oiled machine, and I've honestly never seen this level of hospitality anywhere else in Herndon, VA. The professionalism and ethics at Herndon Modern Dentistry are unmatched. I left feeling genuinely happy and grateful for the care I received.

This is definitely the best place to go for dental treatment, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service. Thank you to everyone at Herndon Modern Dentistry (Gisele-DA, Andrea-OM, Bhakti-HYG, Ami-HC) and a special thank you to Dr. Hatem!

I had a great experience during my recent visit. Dr. Jessica Hatem was processional,sweet,thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I was in bad pain but she took care that it wont hurt me more. The team made sure I felt comfortable.

The hygienist, Bhakti Patel, was equally fantastic—gentle, efficient, and very friendly. My cleaning was smooth and pain-free, and they provided helpful tips for maintaining oral hygiene. The entire team was welcoming and the clinic was clean and well-organized. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Two weeks ago I searched for a dentist office near my home that accepted the insurance I had. I drove by to check it out and there was a sign in the window saying that they were temporarily closed and directed me to Herndon Modern Dentistry. This was fine with me because they are located conveniently along my daily work commute. I was greeted warmly and in no time the dental assistant had completed all of my X-rays. When I first met Dr. Jessica Hatem, I said, "I bet you don't often hear this from patients but I am SO HAPPY to be here!' This was because I had not seen a dentist in years and I was now having a couple of issues.

She laughed and said, "Not on the first visit but I hope to on the second!!!" I thought that was a very clever answer and we both laughed. We discussed everything that I needed and I returned last week and met with Natalie who thoroughly reviewed each suggested procedure, what would be billed, what my insurance covered, and what my out of pocket expense would be. I met Dr. Hatem and we agreed to start with Scaling and Root Planing on the right side. I reiterated my apprehension because the last time I had it done by a periodontist in Leesburg 15 years ago it was extremely uncomfortable and painful. She assured me that her hygienist, Bhakti Patel, was very good.

I must admit, after it was over, "very good" is a tremendous understatement!! I was completely impressed and ecstatic! There was absolutely no pain or discomfort whatsoever! I couldn't believe it! I'm returning this week to have Bhakti do the left side. I'm sure my blood pressure will be lower for this next visit. Before I left I met Ami, at the front desk and she helped schedule future appointments that accommodated my availability perfectly. All of the information I needed for my continued treatment plan arrived in the My Chart file before I arrived home. This included itemized quotes, tooth images and photos, receipt for payment and confirmation of the future appointments. Going to the dentist has never been so stress-free!
