I started going here about 6 years ago and had a great experience. Then, the last two times that I went it was a disaster. I noticed the hygienist always asked me if I drink soda which I do not and then proceeded to tell me my teeth are stained which they aren't. Next, the hygienist told me that I am grinding my teeth and wanted to sell me a $700. 00 mouth guard. I do not grind my teeth. Also, The front office staff was very rude about my insurance.

I was there for an appointment (scheduled six months prior) and they wanted me to reschedule so they could verify my insurance. I told them it was the same insurance that my husband and I have had for the last 5 years. Recently, they sent a bill to my husband asking him to pay. The bill was over two years old. This is the first we had heard of an overdue bill and asked for a balance each time we left. This is not the same place that I first started coming to and I would not recommend.

Do not get anymore than a cleaning here. I had to go to another dentist to correct my filling. Literally the first thing they asked me about during the exam before I even said anything. They were shocked at the poor job.

my first time coming here and i wanted a cleaning but was told upon arrival that it was a consultation. After i was told the needed 6 fillings which i’ve never had before and i’ve been in pain since. I was told it could take up to 8 months for the pain to go away. I was fine with no pain before i came to this place! Now we have a big problem! Don’t ever come here.

The team are great at identifying deviations from a "perfect mouth" and proposing more work than a typical dentist might. For context, I've always done 6 month checkups and never had more than a filling or two. When I visited Highland after my previous dentist closed, they spooked me into thinking I needed a ton of work. This was unfortunately done right before holiday closure, so this work left me in agony because they did not realign my bite after like 10 fillings. I now go to another dentist because, while I'm sure Highland are capable, I frankly feel like they took advantage of me for the sake of billing more.

If you are somehow a dental expert or seek a second opinion before proceeding with their recommended work, then this is a great dentist. I simply made the mistake of trusting people with way more experience than me on this matter. It did strike me as well that from the moment you walk in, you're hit with videos about root canals and overhear seemingly every patient needing work. Perhaps I've been fortunate, but my experience at other dentists has been that most people seldom need much work. Staff are professional, office space is clean and convenient, and they use lots of high tech equipment.

So again if you can avoid pressure for extra work, this is a solid dental option. Just be careful and, for the love of God, don't get a bunch of dental work right before the holidays when they can't help you.
