DO NOT RECOMMEND If you new in the area looking for a pediatric dentist do not go here. Getting an appointment would take 6 months and even if you get an appointment 6 months in advance it is not guaranteed. I scheduled my daughters appointment 6months in advanced and they called and told that they cannot keep the appointment. Our only options are to come earlier or reschedule in after another 3 months.

I tried to explain that our schedules are also busy and getting leaves from our work is hard and would not work the time they proposed. And I asked them if they can schedule us in the following day or in the week after they did not want to do it. It was like it’s going to be only their time and their time only. Ladies work on the phones are very rude and has no flexibility.

Also their service is not that good either. Once my 8year old daughter had to remove a tooth and they were basically yelling at her to keep her tongue out of the way so she can do her work. They are not well trained to work with kids.

If there is an option to give ZERO stars it would have been wonderful. Dr. Durra at the Chalfont office is extremely rude in talking to parents and the moment parents ask questions or say they would like to defer any of the recommendations given by him until next visit, his behavior changes to a don’t care type. Infact he has no sense of speaking properly to either the kids or their parents. He only suggests procedural recommendations (tooth extraction, spacers, capping etc.

) as compared to making the parents understand the actual problem along with why he is suggesting these recommendations and also trying to treat what could be curable issue. This clearly shows that the Chalfont practice is just focused on making money and parents should blindly go with what the doctors say and shouldn’t question or alternate recommendations. On top the nurses are clueless or act clueless wontedly. What is the reason for doing X-Rays on younger kids in matter of less than 2 weeks of the previous visit unless there is an extreme need? Nurses tried to do this to my daughter few times and every time I had to stop them and ask the question to explain the need. Again shows money minded nature of practice.

Their front office folks also give vague or borderline rude responses. This seems to have changed only in the past 2-3 years, as I had my elder kid taken care by this practice for many years without issues. I am seriously thinking to changing the dental practice for my daughter due to this horrible behavior and experience.
