We had a wonderful experience at Hillandale Smile Dental with Dr. Allen Walcott. My 16-year-old daughter was quite nervous about her visit, but the doctor and his assistant Ayal were incredibly kind. They explained everything clearly, made her feel comfortable, and treated her with genuine care and respect.

The clinic was clean, welcoming, and well-organized. We’re very grateful for the excellent treatment she received and would highly recommend Dr. Allen Walcott, Hillandale Smile to anyone.

Excellent patient care and customer services. I had positive experiences with my dental cleaning and cavities filling. Michelle cleaned my teeth very well. The young Ethiopian lady who was assisting Michelle had good patient care skills. Dr.

Micheal was amazing with my cavities filling. He explained the procedures and showed me live images of the cavity as he was removing the decay. His assistance, Hirut , was great with patient care skills. The only thing I noticed is the ladies at the front don't greet patients.

I’ve always been a little nervous about going to the dentist, but my experience with Dr. Allen Walcott completely changed that. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel comfortable with his warm, welcoming energy and genuinely funny personality. He has a great way of making you feel at ease even during procedures I was dreading! His assistant Ayal was just as amazing super encouraging, friendly, and just as hilarious.

Together, they make an incredible team that turns what could be a stressful appointment into something I actually look forward to. I’m so grateful to have found a dentist who not only does great work but also cares about making patients feel relaxed and supported. Highly recommend!

I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at this dental office, specifically involving the dental hygienist, Michelle Morris. During my visit, she made several condescending and rude remarks about my oral health history. When I calmly pointed out that her behavior was inappropriate, she blatantly agreed and said she didn’t care "I am rude" and "I don’t care". She continued speaking to me in a demeaning tone—even in the lobby—where other patients could hear her. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. What made it worse was that other staff members nearby reacted with facial expressions suggesting this behavior was normal and accepted in the office. When I asked to speak to a manager, Michelle rudely snapped "I can get the owner" in a sarcastic, confrontational tone that made it seem like they might be personally connected.

That is why I wanted to speak with office manager instead (who did help), I wasn’t trying to escalate—I was simply looking for help from someone professional. Instead, I was met with more hostility from Michelle Morris. She denied me service after I mentioned I was moving and requested my medical records. She claimed there was nothing they could do and said "I'm not going to waste my time". This was not only dismissive, it was completely false. The actual dentist came in afterward and confirmed that there *was* something they could do during the visit, directly contradicting Michelle’s claim. To add insult to injury, the oral health history she ridiculed is nowhere near as bad as the kind of dental work the practice claims they can handle.

Her remarks were not only unprofessional, but also hypocritical. As a hygienist, Michelle is the first point of contact for patients—she sets the tone for the entire experience. Her rude, dismissive, and hostile behavior reflects incredibly poorly on the practice. In the end, they didn’t even bill for the visit—which I can only assume was due to her conduct. Not only did she cost the office a billable service and real money, but she truly cost them their reputation. No patient should EVER be treated this way. 5/21/2025 (morning appointment)
