Don’t go to this place!!! The arabian/Pakistanian whatever she is is RUDE AS HELL she talks at you instead of to you she threaten me by sayin she was gonna call dcfs because my child has cavities mean while before she even walked in her assistant stated my child didn’t have cavities and was all good she does basic cleanin your appointment will last all of 5 minutes…no real work is done she refers you to the same places all the time Apple dental or Uic in Chicago (they never answer the phone) Apple MAY answer! She tells you you have all this wrong then you go get a second opinion and the second opinion is always right she needs to go back to school to learn a little more about teeth and work on her delivery when speakin to humans threats like that could NOT end well for her! She also makes slick side comments about patients right in your face!!

I looked at the reviews and saw the four stars, assumed I was in good hands. Boy, was I wrong. I went in for x-rays and cleaning and planned to pay out-of-pocket because I have HMO insurance and Hadn’t yet switched over to PPO. I had an event planned and I needed my teeth cleaned ASAP. I knew it might be hard for me to squeeze in an appointment if I had went through HMO insurance and tried to schedule an appointment with my assigned dentist. Every dentist I called was booked until July so I was grateful they had openings.

The assistant at the front was friendly, and the dental assistant was friendly as well and held a conversation with me. The Dr. seemed friendly, and was giving great advice about my teeth! Everything went sideways when she started to clean my teeth. She scraped, rinse, brush, and was done within 10 minutes!!! She expected me to pay $210 out-of-pocket for a half-done job. I told her every dentist I’ve visited has at-least spent 20 minutes doing a proper cleaning and I pay enough attention to know the proper steps to a cleaning. She had the nerve to tell me teeth cleaning doesn’t have a time limit and that she told me my teeth wasn’t going to be white, (I know the difference between a cleaning and teeth whitening) and that she did her job.

That may be true but teeth cleaning does have steps, I’m sure you were taught in dental school therefore your job was not done. I did not pay for that improper cleaning but I did pay $125 for the x-rays. She told me she will send the rest to collections, and I stated I will dispute it because that was false advertisement of a service. If it comes down to me having to pay I will pay that dental office $5 for the next 17 months :) I will not be returning, Dr. Ahmed do better, are you doing it for money or because it’s a passion?

My first time here, the dentist was professional and honest. It was a very relaxing cleaning and I did not detect any unnecessary treatment or over prescribing as I have with many other offices. My only quip would be their paper form questionnaire at the beginning felt excessive, make sure to come with all of your insurance information accessible.
