I was a patient at Hopke for about three years, and every appointment, I had to wait at least an hour in the waiting room. After being called back, I would have the worst experiences. Whenever I informed the staff that they were causing me pain, they ignored my concerns and attributed it to my gums being too inflamed. While I understand that inflammation can cause some discomfort, the level of pain I was experiencing was far beyond what would be considered normal.

After seeing a different dentist following my time at Hopke, I was told that Hopke had damaged both my gum line and the enamel on my teeth due to excessive drilling when they repeatedly removed my braces. To make matters worse, the person in charge of billing was consistently behind and never processed bills on the correct dates, which led to my family having to meet with her multiple times to resolve issues. During one of these meetings, she was extremely disrespectful and tried to blame my family for her mistakes.

I have only experienced positivity at Hopke Orthodontics. The entire staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Meagan, in particular, stands out for her exceptional service; she never hesitates to help and is always a delight to interact with.

Their efficiency is impressive too—they are amazingly quick at making retainers. I highly recommend Hopke Orthodontics for anyone seeking top-notch orthodontic care.

My daughter has had her first round of treatment at Hopke. If I could afford to move her, I would. This office is completely impersonal. The doctor doesn’t address the patients or parents. There is nothing in the waiting room for kids entertainment or comfort. They are consistently late and often appointments take over an hour commitment (we’ve been there for two hours before). Try handling this with younger siblings in a stark waiting room.

My daughter lost her top retainer recently and we were told she would have one by the weekend. It’s now Monday, we were told to come back by 5, only to have them close doors early on us. Repeat bad experiences and poor customer service. Her teeth are straight, but any orthodontist can achieve this. Instead of investing in billboards and commercials, invest in your patients.
