You know those rare types of folks who do the right thing by others no matter the difficulty or cost? The folks who, once you find them, you never leave and refer all of your friends? These folks are like a needle in a haystack, but Steve Shinebarger is ine of them. Im a colleague of Dr. Shinebarger’s and worked closely with him both in both Dental School and residency.

I can say that based on my experiences with him I wouldn’t hesitate to fly from my own dental practice in Florida to New York if I ever needed complex dental care. Steve knows his stuff, treats people right, and is a pinnacle of the profession.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. I had a filling in my molar in 2022, immediately after this I was in pain, I had it checked one more time and the Doctor said it was going to be temporary and recommended using sensodyne toothpaste, etc. It wasn't temporary, I wasn't able to chew on my right side anymore, I decided not going back with them anymore. I went to another dentist and they found that the filling was too close to the nerve and that was the reason of my pain, the nerve was compromised and dying, I had to get a root canal and I'm finally recovering after that, and finally being able to chew without pain again.

They are good about customer service, booking appointments, etc. , but unfortunately about the results, I can't give a good review, very bad (and painful) experience.

Dr. Shinebarger is the best dentist around! His work is excellent. He truly cares about giving patients the greatest and most comfortable experience possible. Heather has cleaned my teeth for the last 6 years. She takes her time and does the most thorough job. My teeth always feel so smooth and clean afterwards!
