Spoke with Cindy on the phone, the night before my wife's appointment. She notified us that our entire amount from her previous surgery was due before any more services could be rendered. We were never informed of this, I replied, asking for some document which stated that the dental office required payment in full before making new appointments. She declined, stating that no such document existed and that "we (they) are a family business so we can do whatever we want".
Oh, like lying to your patients? We won't be doing business with these kniving bafoons again. This is downright fraud.

I live in Utah and have for 8 years. We struggled to find a dentist for our family here because of the very high expectations Dr Hughes left us with. While living in Nekoosa, our youngest son Michael was trying to jump off the trampoline, got tangled in the (stupid) safety net, and fell straight down face first into the bottom bar bashing his 2 front teeth straight back in mouth. The scene was straight out of a horror movie, blood everywhere, his lips resembled fresh ground hamburger, and his two front teeth were pointing toward the back of his throat. The ER took us in and after waiting for a Dr for 35 minutes, turned us away telling us they could do nothing for us (except slap us with a $300 bill). .
. Gee Thanks! In desperation I called Dr Hughes. He answered his cell phone with his family in Wausau. I don't know what they were doing as a family but Dr Hughes dropped what he was doing and drove down to meet us at his office! Who does that these days?! He was gentlen and kind as always. He told us that although it looked super bad the roots of his teeth had not broken. .
He numbed our son up and with his finger popped them back in place. Time went by and my son healed and I never got a bill! We called figuring that was a mistake, but we're assured that there was no mistake. My dentist today in Payson, UT runs a business and you can just tell that you are there for his well being. I miss Dr Hughes, knowing that every time I was in his chair, his first interest was my well being.

Pain-free! Very friendly, very professional, very knowledgeable. I live hours away now and still drive to Wisconsin Rapids to see Dr Hughes. When another dentist said I had 3 cavities (7 years ago) Dr Hughes said we should wait and see because they weren't really cavities yet. They still haven't had to be drilled. A very honest man, kind, and helpful.
