The staff members that were in the office about six years ago when I first went to Dr K are no longer there. The office manager and billing person are unresponsive to requests to fix an incorrect billing. I was billed a copay for a 100 percent covered cleaning. Today, 4/23/25 I was told that Dr R is out of network for me for my 5/1/25 appt. I’ve never met a Dr R. I was told I could pay out of pocket.

I was also told my 5/1/25 appt needed to be cancelled because there won’t be a Dr in the office that day. It’s almost laughable. I will call my insurance company/Aetna tomorrow and see if any complaint can be filed. If you want an erratic dentist office that has a revolving door staff, no hygienist, incompetent billing, and last minute cancellations for your 6 month check up, this office is the place for you.

Dr. Kakarla and Kristie are absolutely wonderful professionals. I am not a fan of dental work like many and was left in a bind when my long time dentist who I was comfortable with retired abruptly. I by chance ended up going with Huron Dental because they could get me in. I needed to finish some work and turns out needed some upsetting cavities filled.

All together it will be 6 appointments I'm done with 4. They called me when other appointment times opened up, taken special care when I was nervous, and just been generally wonderful. The most striking thing other than their comfortable personalities, was that they would give me breaks they may not be long but it was enough to get me through the appointment and if they had an appointment behind me that just meant maybe we wouldn't get as much done but they never rushed me or kept going if I needed a break. I highly recommend this office!

I was in from NY, visiting family in Ann Arbor for the holidays, when my temp crown came out. I called here (close to closing) and was quickly taken care of in less than an hour. Doctor and staff are super friendly, charming, and professional. If I do decide to appease my mother and move back to Michigan, this is gonna be where I get my teeth taken care of. Might pull one out just to come back…
