“Thorough” is the first word that comes to mind when I think of my experience at Hygge so far. From my new patient exam, to the two visits for perio treatment (my gums feel sooo much better, thank you Cynthia!), to going in for a crown — the dentists and hygienists and front desk staff have been kind, knowledgeable and very patient with all of my questions and concerns.

Would definitely recommend!

I already have a general dentist but I went to Dr. Gordon for some cosmetic laser dental work. I found the front office staff to be knowledgeable and never had any issues with insurance or billing, they always told me up front what the cost of treatment would be. No surprises. Dr.

Gordon has great attention to detail and was receptive, from consultation day to touch up day, to what I was hoping to achieve with my smile. Their laser equipment is really impressive and I was told in advance what to expect so I felt very prepared, pain was super minimal, and recovery was quick and easy. The laser work I had done really completed my smile and I’m super pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Hygge Laser Dentistry to those looking to improve their smile cosmetically. Other bonus includes easy parking (which is always something I value in Seattle).

My one suggestion for improvement would be wait times, as I always arrived on time but would be seen later than the actual appointment start time (sometimes waiting in the exam chair up to 30 minutes). Life happens so it wasn’t a dealbreaker for me but might be for others especially if they are on a time crunch. Overall, still very pleased.

Earlier this year, I experienced a traumatic dental emergency while playing ultimate frisbee. I sprinted into the end zone and collided face-first with another player’s head, knocking a few of my front teeth back into my mouth. I couldn’t close my mouth, let alone chew, and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Gordon and the team at Hygge Dental were incredibly responsive, compassionate, and skilled. They got me in the very next morning, assessed the damage, carefully repositioned my teeth, and built a splint to hold them in place.

Over the next six weeks, they closely monitored my recovery and performed laser treatments on the area, which I believe played a big role in the healing process. I regained feeling in the affected teeth, and cosmetically, they look almost as good as new. If you ever find yourself in need of urgent dental care—or just want a kind, capable team for your regular dental needs—I can’t recommend Hygge Dental enough. Dr. Gordon and her team are amazing!
