Beware: this company will use all your contact info to AGGRESSIVELY market their services to you, the patient. Multiple daily texts and emails as well as after hours calls by a call center. The only way I’ve (hopefully) been able to stop the after hours calls was to go in person and provide my birthday.

Really disappointing because I’ve been coming to this practice for years and was otherwise very happy with the service I received.

It's gone corporate in a bad way since Dr. Ingber sold the practice to a conglomerate when he retired. It's all about the Benjamin$$ now. First example: I went to a cleaning and said up front I only want the services covered by my dental insurance. Any additional services I want to approve on a case by case basis. They said fine. At check out I confirm- this visit was covered by insurance. They said yes. A few months later-- giant bill.

Second example: Something comes up and I am not able to make an appointment. I am aware of their required notification policy (24 hours) and I call them to notify that I will be unable to make the appointment. No problem they say. The next day at the time my appointment was scheduled I get a call "where are you?" I said I called yesterday and cancelled it. They say "no problem. " A few months later-- a giant bill for a missed appointment. Third: they send you invoices through a billing portal-- which is fine. But whoever entered my information into their system put my phone number in wrong, so I can't get in through two step verification because the verification text goes to some number that is not mine. I have brought this to their attention by email several times.

It's still not fixed. It's a shame when a small business with personal touch goes corporate. I don't want to be "taken care of" by a corporation. The only reason I stayed this long was because I found the hygienist to be professional and caring. But she was constantly pressured to go faster. I will not be returning.

Best dentist in DC! I've been coming to Ingber Dental for over a decade, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They're efficient, accommodating, and super friendly. I had my Invisalign done with them and also get my regular cleanings there; and the doctors, hygienists, and staff are always top-notch. If you're nervous about dental work, this is the place for you! They play nature docs on the ceiling and cover you with a warm blanket to allay your fears and put your mind at ease, and the hygienists are super gentle. If I moved far away, I would still come back to Ingber Dental for my checkups - no place does better, and I trust them implicitly.

(Confession: When my insurance changed, I went to another dentist for one visit and felt the difference profoundly. Never again! I'll pay out of pocket to go to Ingber Dental if I have to - they're no. 1. )

I've been a patient for 11 years and they past 4 have been treacherous. Once the practice was sold, I was baited into unnecessary oral surgery and filings, and unnecessary add-ons for regular cleanings like fluoride spraying. They now harass and threaten late fees regarding appointment times and then miss staff my appointment when I actually arrive. They insist on nonstop xrays and then don't analyze them or provide any update regarding my oral health. Now I need to redo invisalign because they've failed to properly maintain my oral health. Turns out they weren't able to replace my retainer over the years though I kept asking. .

. . . because they DELETED my invisalign file. Beware! Their billing also sucks now.
