My wife has been a patient of Jansen Family Dentistry for decades, and I have been a patient for nearly ten years. Dr. Doug and the team here are fantastic. They are always polite and professional. Their patient care is top notch, and when recommending treatment, Dr.

Doug has always been a straight shooter. If he does not think something will work, he won't recommend it. They are out of network for our insurance, so that can provide some upfront cost to patients (our insurer mails us a check that we can sign over to the office, cash ourselves and pay them, or pay at the time services are rendered and keep the insurance reimbursement [typically what we do] .

For the short readers this place is awesome! From the dental hygienist, the assistant and the dentist herself! I would consider my mouth to be very sensitive and the thought of going to the dentist actually keeps me up at night! Yes it’s true I am a wimp when it comes to my mouth. I feel like I’m not alone on this… The shot into the gum is usually the terrible part but this time it was more of an awkward feeling rather then the normal pain of the needle. I am a firm believer that in most everything we do technique is everything. Dr.

Janaya definitely has good technique. Onto the actual grinding, drilling etc… normally I feel a decent amount of vibration and uncomfort while drilling, especially with the low speed. Not in this case, I think twice total I had a little rumble where I felt the drill bog a little from slightly to much pressure. I was in for 4 fillings all at once so for this to only happen twice I was impressed.

I think most people avoid the dentist just like I have and before you know it we need major dentistry! Listen to me when I say most of us will never enjoy going to the dentist. If you would like to go to a place that really limits the amount of discomfort because of pure skill and good technique then you should schedule your dentistry needs at Jansens in kendallville. Also I almost forgot one of the fillings I received that day was right up front and you can not see it at all! Blended so well it’s invisible. So thankful for this team of people caring so much for our comfort and smile!

Just got a call from Jensen’s family dentistry. Pretty excited I get a second sit down with my dentist to fix my my veneers. They are going to be better than the first time I can feel it in my heart . This opportunity does not come very often, Prayers have helped this situation.

Gratitude, and appreciation will go along way. God will bless this dentistry team again I thank them for making things right.
