I love this place! The staff is wonderful, they were able to accommodate the emergency treatment my son needed and Dr. Scherrman is phenomenal— she took such great care of him and saved his teeth. Everyone helped us feel at ease throughout the whole process, and I am very grateful for our experience.

Also, the waiting room is so fun and stimulating my kids told their friends and actually wanted to go back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:)

Honestly, if I could give this place no stars at all, I would. I chose this dentist because of the good reviews I saw from other parents; however, the experience we had was absolutely traumatizing. My son (only 4 years old) chipped his tooth causing the nerve to become exposed. He would not allow his regular dentist to numb it in order to pull it; therefore, they referred us here so we could have him sedated (they stated he would most likely receive laughing gas) in order to ensure he didn't leave the dentist traumatized. We drove 2 hours to come here, only for them to do the exact same thing his dentist could have done. They did not sedate him whatsoever. Let's just start from the beginning, when doing his x-rays, my son did not want to cooperate, yes, he was being a little difficult, but again, he is four and whenever you are shoving something in his mouth that is hitting the nerve which causes him pain, of course he isn't going to cooperate. Anyway, the first red flag to me was when they told him either he cooperates or he doesn't get a prize. They said it in a hateful tone and I just felt like that wasn't professional for people who supposedly specialize with children. In order to get the x-ray, the lady grabbed his face, shoved the thing in his mouth, and took the picture. Keep reading, it get's much worse. After that, I debated on leaving but kept telling myself once we got back to the room, before doing anything, they would give him something to calm him so it wouldn't be as bad. Then we were taken back to a room where we were told that during the procedure, we had to leave.

They do not allow parents to stay because they believe it makes the children act up. Well at that point, he was already so upset, it didn't really matter. They proceeded to tell me that I had to leave and that they would hold him down in order to pull his tooth. Hold on, wait a second. . . . . you hold children down? We drove 2 hours to avoid this type of thing yet it didn't matter. They informed us that's what they do in order to do their jobs. After they pulled his tooth, I found him in the hallway with blood pouring out of his mouth because "he wouldn't bite down on the gauze. " Then on top of that, he explained to me that he watched them throw his toy away. After asking about that, they stated he threw it when they were trying to pull his tooth.

. . . . so it is their word against his. Regardless, it should have been given back to him. I rarely complain but this was literally just the most horrible experience I think we could of ever had and I want to warn other parents who only see the good reviews like we did. I am sure they will end up deleting this review which is the sad part but I can promise you one thing, my children will NEVER go back to this facility. I already called their regular dentist who was disgusted by the way they handled this. I am hoping maybe they will think twice before referring other parents to this facility.
